“Hey! What is it?” Gabriel asked as he soon caught up to me, grabbing my arm. “Tell me what’s wrong?” 


I knew that he wanted to know what was going on but we didn’t have a single second to waste. I yanked his hand off of mine. That took him by surprise. 


“Just shut up and follow me!” I snapped. Gabriel looked even more surprised. I had time to explain myself but that was for later. What mattered then was to find out where I felt that energy spike. So I kept on running through the hallways. And he quietly kept up behind my back. 


As we grew closer to the main entrance, the school bells started going off. 


“ALL STUDENTS PLEASE BE IN YOUR CLASSES. I REPEAT 


Gabriel seemed to have gotten the light of the situation. He quickly ushered his phone out and began calling someone. 


“What is going on?!” He exclaimed as the person picked up. He waited for them to talk before his face turned from confusion to panic.
