ONE CHANCE

I walked towards the grand kitchen and sighed. I wasn't ready to face my people today, but I knew I had to. I hated being forced to sit next to Draven at breakfast. He wanted to show me off and I hated it. I was not his prize and he would never have me. But I knew that I had to keep a level head if I wanted to survive. I pushed open the door and walked inside slowly. Heads bowed as I made my way towards Draven. He was sitting in his usual seat at the end of the very long table. When I walked in, he smirked. I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes at him. His men whistled and cheered, and I tried my best to ignore him. As I took my seat beside him, I forced a smile.

"Good Morning, Draven." I knew that he would be upset that I didn't address him as alpha. He wanted me to tell him that he was my king and I denied him every single time. Zero was my mate and my king. No one would ever take his place.

"Van si os shi," Calix growled. (She is so disrespectful)
