I walked through the woods and sighed loudly. Alora was getting on my nerves. She kept going on and on about how we should have never left Knox. I didn't know what she wanted me to say. The thought of going back and asking Tristian for help was stupid, but I had to try. I didn't know what else to do and my people needed help. I had to put my pride to the side for my people. I didn't understand why she didn't understand that. 


"I told you marrying him was a mistake. Why didn't you listen to me." 


I threw my hands into the air, "you act like I had a choice. He forced me, remember?" 


"Yes, that should have been more reason enough to go to Tristian for protection. You need to leave Zero behind and go back to Knox, he can protect us." 


I frowned and continued to walk down the path. "Do you really believe that? Stop being ignorant, Alora. Knox hated us both." 


"But he isn't a maniac like Alroy. That guy really creeps me out and he wants to kill us. How do you accept that?"
