Chapter 38: Test

The next few weeks passed relatively quickly for Tsunade as she had multiple things she had to do.

She was able to completely fill her Seal with Yang chakra specifically and even began adding sections to the seal to accommodate different nature chakras for the future. The new seal was almost complete thanks to aid from Lady Katsuyu and Mito.

However this caused her to have less training time with her friends after school since she was mostly focusing on the seal, although she was still able to spend at least a hour a day with them before going home to begin work on the seal.

The group had also begun to work better individually after a few weeks of training, with almost all of them mastering water walking in around 2 weeks. Only Duy was unable to learn it, the same as with tree climbing. Tsunade even did a medical scan on Duy to attempt to learn why he couldn't gain access to his chakra.

After the scan, she found that Duy's chakra amount was so small that it was practically equivalent to a toddler and showed no sign of growing. She was unable to figure out the reason as both his physical and mental energies showed to be much higher than the level of his chakra. Her best guess was that his body was not merging his physical energy and his mental energy naturally, and doing so forcefully was extremely dangerous.

So she decided to get him to focus on his taijutsu early as she asked Tobirama for the 8 Gates Technique. He seemed skeptical at first and was prepared to say no, as he knew the danger that the technique could cause to its users. However, after Tsunade explained the situation to him about Duyand his inability to use chakra, he gave her permission to give the technique to Duy, though he did forbid her from learning the technique herself. But when he saw her look dejected at that, he gave her another ninjutsu that he created that could be just as dangerous. The Shadow Clone Jutsu.

Although he also gave her the stroll for the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu as well, he told her not to use neither regularly due to the mental strain it may cause unless you have powerful mental strength. Still, the jutsu would help her greatly when she starts developing other ninjutsu techniques.

After a lot of screaming about how she helped him grow his "YOUTH!!" Tsunade gave him a new pair of beads she created using the Sealing Technique: Four Limbs Weighting Seal on them. This allowed him to greatly increase his training and he was almost able to open the 1st Gate.

Today was the day that they took their Exam and Tsunade was quite ready for it. Not to mention that she had a high understanding of things like Math due to her past life, but also the simpleness of the theoretical questions. It was so easy that even Jiraiya was prepared for the test.

Yoma entered the classroom and immediately began passing out the test without speaking a word.

The test consisted of questions like:

1. What is the name of the Country we live in? The Land of Fire

2. What is the name of the first and second Hokage's? Hashirama and Tobirama Senju

3. Who are the two founding clans of Konoha? The Senju and Uchiha

4. What is 45 times 67? 3,015

Almost everyone in the class finished the test in around 30 minutes, with Jiraiya being the last one to finish.

After that, Yoma took up all the test papers as they all began to talk.

"I told you I would finish it easily. I'm too smart for questions like that." Jiraiya said with a smug smile on his face.

"I'm surprised you know how to put your name on the test." Orochimaru said causing everyone to burst out in laughter.

However, just as Tsunade was about to say something else about Jiraiya, someone knocked on the door interrupting them.

Yoma opened the door to see Haru standing in the doorway, and he wasted no time and immediately said with an urgency that isn't usually in his tone "We need my daughter to return home, now!"

Yoma simply nodded as Tsunade ran up to her father to see what was wrong, but he immediately turned around while saying "Follow me."

Tsunade simply followed her father at a high speed in silence as they navigated over rooftops, however she noticed they were heading towards the Senju compound and felt that something was wrong.

"What's going on Dad?" she asked.

Haru simply turned around and looked down at his daughter as he spoke in a voice that was filled with sadness "Lord Hashirama is dying."
