Chapter 134: Opposite

Tsunade left the Village in a quick manner, with her not being sure how to locate the her from this Timeline.

She could use her enhanced sensing technique, though she still didn't feel comfortable using it without passing out yet, causing her to go further into contemplation.

Tsunade then used all her thoughts to remember where the original Tsunade was found in the anime.

While she could not remember the exact location, she did remember that a festival was going on in the place she was at.

After sneaking into a few small towns and learning that a festival was ongoing in Tanzaku Quarters, she headed out to go there in hopes she could arrive before the other version of herself met Orochimaru.

On her way there, she could only think about how she was supposed to return to her home timeline.

She missed her family, her friends, her coworkers.

And it was due to this that she wanted to meet the version of her from this world.

Just being away from her loved ones and not knowing if she them again was weighing constantly on her, so she could only feel remorse at a version of her who lost her entire family one after another.

However, she also felt that this version was wrong for not living in their memory, as she would never allow herself to become a traumatized victim who could no longer save lives.

A woman who chose to run from her problems and hide from them, choosing to stay away from the place that her Grandfather built as her home and become a mere gambler that only wasted away her gifts at different casinos.

She also wished for this version of her to find happiness, as it could be seen that although she had feelings for Jiraiya, she chose to hold them until it was too late for her to tell him how she felt.

And it was due to all of these reasons that she wished to meet the version of herself that could be called the antithesis of everything she stands for.

Tsunade traveled with these thoughts before she finally arrived at the City.

"You are the only candidate to become Hokage. There is no one else who can take on the position. Only someone with the prestige of a Sannin like you can fill the seat of Hiruzen." Koharu said as she and Homura stood before a much older white-haired man.

"Are you positive that you need a Sannin to take the position of Hokage?" Jiraiya asked as he stared at the two, a multitude of thoughts passing through his head.

While he didn't publicly attend the funeral, he did observe it from a distance as the man who was the closest thing he had to a father was laid to rest.

However, he noticed a mysterious figure appear on a roof near the scene, though they simply left after a small amount of observing.

Seeing that the person was headed toward the exit of the Village, Jiraiya simply assumed that it may have been an agent of Danzo's ROOT or another Village confirming Hiruzen's death or making sure that the funeral went smoothly.

However, it was the small sliver of blonde hair that Jiraiya saw that made the person seem almost familiar to him as if it was another woman that he knew, making him not be able to get the person out of his mind.

"-eed you. Are you listening to us!" Koharu yelled as Jiraiya finally snapped out of his thoughts.

"Yeah, I heard you two just fine. Since all you need is a Sannin to take the position, I'll just have to go get you one." Jiraiya said as he left the room, prepared to bring back the other Sannin who was affiliated with the Village: Lady Tsunade.

He could only hope he could convince her to return.
