Chapter 136: Release

* Future Tsunade will be known as Tsunade*

* MC Tsunade will be known as Tsuna*

"What the hell do you mean your me from the past!" Tsunade asked with her growing more and more impatient at each passing moment.

"I know this is going to sound weird. But basically, I am you from a different timeline, one in which events played out differently and our lives took different but similar paths. Somehow, while on a mission for the Village, I was transported from my timeline to this one. And even though my goal should be trying to return home, I felt like something was drawing me to meet with you, and hope I can help you heal from your trauma." Tsuna answered.

"And why should I believe you? Why shouldn't I think this is some scheme concocted by an enemy Village?" Tsunade asked, though she still didn't lower her guard.

"Because we are still the same person. From us loving when Grandpa used to take us around the Village while we rode on his neck, to Grandma Mito cooking extremely good dinners for us, to us spoiling Nawaki when he was born, to us even feeling that our family was the strongest in the world and was invincible when we were younger. Even if the timelines are different, I know you experienced the same love and affection that I did, because that is just how our family is. I don't know how you feel due to the loss of them, because I haven't lost anyone except Grandfather yet. But, I know that how ever I felt about them must be multiplied ten times over in comparison to the loss you have experienced. That is why I came here, I want to understand you, help you, and make you better than when we first met. And I know that we can do it, because we have never been weak." Tsuna said as she stared Tsunade in the eyes.

Tsuande looked at Tsuna, seeing the conviction in her, and for the first time in years, stopped suppressing the hurt and pain that she felt and released all of it.

Tears flooded from her eyes as she fell to the ground, showcasing all of the pain she had.

Tsunade knew that she had just met the person before her and that she could not truly be confident in being safe around such a person, with her not knowing if she had any ulterior motives.

But something in her heart made her wish to trust this person against all of her instincts as a shinobi.

"I-I tr-tried soo hard." Tsunade spoke out between her cries and tears and she poured her emotion out to the one person who may understand her.

Tsuna brought her into an embrace and the two hugged while Tsunade rubbed her back to console her.

"It's okay. Let it all out. Only by properly grieving can you finally move past grief." Tsunade said.

Tsunade and Tsuna stood in the room as the moon shined onto them through the window, as once Tsunade was done grieving she may finally face her traumas and move past them.

Jiraiya traveled with his God son through the forest as he finally discovered the location of Tsunade.

"Pervy Sage, when are you going to teach me more of the Rasengan?" Naruto asked impatiently.

"Fine kid, you see this rubber ball, try to pop it the same way you did the water balloon." Jiraiya said as he gave him the ball before they continued on their journey.

He still could not get the image of the girl out of his head, though he had a feeling he would meet her sooner rather than later.

He would only hope that it was an ally and not an enemy.

Shizune stood lost as she continuously searched for Tsunade with Tonton in her hand, with her feeling she would find her eventually.
