What happens when humanity's greatest weapon gets a second chance at life? Commander Kronos wasn't even considered to be a human but rather a weapon to be used for the greater good of his species. He was grown in a tube to be the perfect weapon so he lacked many emotions/experiences most people take for granted. Upon experiencing some emotions for the first time he was quickly eliminated by humanity and was reborn into a world of swords and sorcery, getting a second lease on life.
Of course, he didn't see it that way at the start and thought he was being fooled. It took a near-death experience and a lot of growing up but he finally decided to keep his promise to his former comrades and give his new life an honest try.
Embark on the story of the former Commander of Hades Squad as he settles into his new life as the Dark Elf Kaladin Shadowheart.

How… just… how… The author somehow made the best reincarnation story out there, and it isn’t #1! This is a crime against the human race. All jokes aside, I read this novel in a few days, less so if I didn’t have college. It literally consumed my life up until I caught up. Do yourself a favor and read this thing right now. P.S author: I would so buy this as a physical book series. Hire a(n) artist(s), update the cover art/character art, and profit (if you haven’t already, I’m writing this almost immediately after finishing chapter 122).
Have you ever wondered what if Master Chief or Noble Six had to start all-over as a child? In another world. With magic? Yeah. Welcome to Deathworld commando. Join our boy on a wonderful journey to answer age old questions. What are emotions, how do I make friends, is this all a simulation. It gets dark. It gets cute. Mostly we get a protag who is denser Than the heart of a dead star. Read and find out.
I read though this story all the way to the current chapter in two days. It is amazing. Writing Quality - 4.7 stars Stability of Updates - 5 stars Story Development - 5 stars Character Design - 5 stars World Background - 5 stars I read the story on reddit and came here to review it.
With its start out on hfy for me I was hooked. The character development and world building is some of the best I've ever read. to not give this story a read is a disservice to ones own curiosity and dare I say humanity.

One of the best stories I’ve picked up! Consistent update schedules and consistent quality makes it extremely easy to read, especially if you binge all the volumes, and leaves you wanting chapters even sooner. The way the story twists and turns at points leaves you wondering what happens next, and you find yourself on the edge of your seat in anticipation for what will come. For me, even the most mundane and calm chapters leaves me excited to see the next. Be sure to read the author’s notes! Cheers!
I wasn’t there for the beginning but when I started reading I fell in love with it. It is in my top 5 favorite stories of all time, topping most of the books I’ve read.
Phenomenal story with excellent characters placed in a fun world. If I had to pick an issue, and I'm reaching here, it would be that the story inconsistently decides what genre it is. Sometimes it is a slice-of-life story, other times it is high fantasy, and occasionally wants to be a young adult novel. Despite this truthfully small issue, the story is one I'd recommend to any and all.
I mainly read this on r/HFY. It's one of my favorite stories, it even managed to sucker me into reading a genre I normally don't (and liking it to boot!). The world building is good, and doesn't stray away from darker topics like slavery. The characters grow naturally and the relationships between characters seem dynamic and natural. All in all it's a great story, and we shall watch this story's career with great interest.
When someone with the strength to crush your skull with their bare hands and is a walking one man army that gets reincarnated what could go wrong I love this story and am aways up to date, I came here from Reddit.
This story was definitely a hidden gem for me- I always seen this story but I ignore it due to personal bias- that was a mistake and when I finally had the courage to read this story I was 100 percent please on how well done the characters and world thats this story brought to me.
An amazing story with an active community around it and a cool person for an author, what else can ask for?Art? They have that too,not just cover art, character art for several characters that appear in the story, and more is being made.Read it you'l love it.
Generally great quality, good dialogue and 3 dimensional personalities. The author makes an effort to have past events affect future characteristics which improves continuity.
