The wind blew passed them. It was icy and withering. Svetlana shivered and he offered her his bomber jacket.
She turned it down. He still like he was pondering her restaurant request.
"By any chance, did you try our previous restaurant beforehand?"
He nodded while he looked up at the sky. The weather had been uncertain throughout the day. The sun would shine for a bit then a billow of clouds would waft it and obstruct its light.
"Yeah, I did. I didn't know what you liked but I didn't want to take you to just any restaurant."
Svetlana thought it was eyes but there was a faint tint of red in his cheeks while he responded. Did her question embarrass him or...?
"I also tried out a few restaurants beforehand. D-Did I do too much?"
Svetlana would have replied yes right away but she was touched. He was at least trying, she on the other hand was thinking of becoming a freeloader.
