Mark felt a great pressure against his chest, He couldn't breathe as he was wheezing for air as a sharp agonizing pain filled his body.
The cars stopped, they looked a lot like those old rusted cars you'd see in a apocalyptic movie. Most of them were missing windows, were rusted, and were barely being kept together by a couple of screws, and bolts. That's when he spotted a couple of silhouettes that hop out from their cars.
He could hear their laughters, and snickers as they moved closer.
"We caught a big one this time, I hope he's got some good loot." Said the silhouette on the left.
"Screw the loot I hope he tastes good, I haven't eaten in weeks." The one on the right snarled.
The middle silhouette was quite as they grew ever so slightly towards Mark. All Mark could hear was a quick swooshing sound before everything went dark.
Like before Mark wakes up with chains around his hands, and legs. This time he found himself upside down attached to a pole. at least they didn't blindfold him. He could see what looked like a giant outpost large scrap metal walls surrounded the outpost, with large watch towers just barely reaching above it.
Multiple huts filled the outpost all different sizes, and materials. Some were made of scrap like the walls, and some were made of wood, with thatch roofs. He spotted many humanoid creatures, some were scaly, some were slimy. The whole outpost was very diverse, but they all had something in common, they all wore a black leather jacket with a lizard emblem on the back.
Next to Mark he could hear rattling, it was that talking sentient phone he met in those bizarre hallways. They put him in a old bird cage which was dangling right besides him just barely hanging onto another conveniently placed old wooden post.
"We are both going to die. this is it, this is our end. Farewell friend, farewell world, farewell…. Ultra mega super pizza restaurant."
Something tells Mark that the phone doesn't know the name of this pizza restaurant.
One of the bandits came walking towards him, and the phone. It was a large humanoid insect it resembled a wasp with a burst of orange, and yellow with two black lines going going down it's face. It had a very slim body with two massive elytra protruding from its back. It let out a laugh that sounded very static like if you were to speak into a fan.
The wasp man would then release him from his chains causing Mark to fall flat on his head.
"Come with me" the wasp man said while grasping the phone in his left hand.
Another bandit moved behind him with a gun raised to his head. Since he didn't really have a choice he followed the wasp man to a large building within the middle of the outpost it was made of steel, and enormous bones. It was built a lot like a Viking longhouse. When he entered there was a long wooden table going through the middle with plates of food full of meat, and fruit. At the end there was a large throne made completely out of enormous ribs, and skulls. It was barely lit so he could barely see a man sitting upon it holding a giant sword within its grasp.
He slams his sword against the ground, and the torches light up brighter than before revealing the silhouette. It was a large skeleton man. Unlike the rest of the bandits, he didn't wear a leather jacket. He wore a large breastplate made of a scaly material, and a large hide was placed upon his shoulders, he wore grey trousers made of silk. Even though he didn't have eyeballs he could see two crimson red dots glare down at Mark, and the phone.
"Human" he spoke in a very deep Scottish voice. "I have a deal for you, if you wish to live."
Shivers went down Marks spine at the sheer presences of the Skeleton. "W- what is your deal?"
"Some rotten no good goblins have stolen our supplies, and instead of wasting any good men I want you to retrieve it. If you retrieve our supplies I'll let you, and your weird talking square device go. If you fail well it's up to the goblins."
Seeing as Mark had no choice, he agreed to the deal.
"Aw man I was hoping to feed him to the beasts." The wasp was a bit disappointed.
"D-do w- we get a weapon" Mark stuttered
The skeleton waved to one of the bandits signaling him to come closer. As they approach he rips the spear out of his hands, and throws it to Mark. The Bandit seemed a bit sad that he stole his spear, but went right back to where he was originally standing.
"Now go, one of my men shall lead you to their camp, I bid you well."
Mark didn't appreciate getting thrown into another camp full of killing machines, but it beats getting fed to their beasts.
The wasp man who was holding the phone pulled Mark with him.
"Come on human." They were taken out from the camp towards one of the scrap cars he saw yesterday, before getting knocked out by a still unknown projectile. the seats were stone hard, sticky, and there was a metal tub always poking his side he found it unbearable. The wasp man hops into the car holding a old Glock in his hand.
Mark knew it was probably in case he tries to escape, or retaliate. The wasp then turned on the car, it would rumble, and shudder. The smell of gasoline flooded his nostrils as the vehicle zoomed across the streets. It was decently fast for how rough it was.
Mark would constantly adjust himself within his seat trying to find a angle where the tube wasn't jabbing his side.
When the car stopped Mark hopped right out rubbing his sore side. He looked around to see a very large hole within the ground. It was about a few blocks wide, and when he peered down the side he could see many holes that led into the ground. That's when he spotted multiple little green men. Their ears were pointed, and long, and they wore a variety of clothes. Some looked like normal human outfits like a T shirt, and matching shorts. Some looked a little bizarre like the one in the middle who wore multiple jackets, and booty shorts.
It took everything within Mark not to erupt with a full on belly laugh.
Mark then heard the wasp man speak in a sinister tone. "Good luck." Before feeling a hard boot slam against his back throwing him deep into the hole.
