Skrulls

It pays to have friends in high places, and in Godbrand's case that was Fury. Godbrand had figured out he had no currency on him and the man came to his rescue. He gave him an abandoned building which he was very much grateful. So, for the past month, he has been adding weights to the building which will serve as lifts.

He had collected weights used to balance cranes from 10 tonnes to 500 tonnes. He had also collected a bokken, stolen, which will serve as his training sword for now. Too bad he could not make it like a thousand tonnes but beggars are not choosers.

With his training materials now with him, he started exercising like crazy. He would do stand arm pushups with two five hundred tonnes weights blocks on his feet and make sure he would complete two hundred of those. Then, he would do pull ups with the same blocks tied on his waist. Two hundred of those and he was now starting to breath slightly faster. After those, he would do burpees with a five hundred tonnes block, five hundred of those and he was tired.

Guessing the time was nigh, he would now start swinging the bokken, practicing his swordplay and movement using all of the three's knowledge, making his own swordplay. Anybody else at his position would not have worked hard due to the strength the three characters offered but he guessed that his potential has not yet been expanded and he took the training seriously.

After sword training he would then work on his hand to hand combat before doing the first set of exercises again before retiring from training for the day. He would just cook a nutritious dinner, lots of protein and carbohydrates, before just watching TV, do some light exercises and then go to sleep.

For three months, Godbrand continued doing these exercises, increasing the difficulty everytime he felt he had started getting used to it. Due to this, his previously chiseled body was now even more sharp. His height had increased exponentially and before if he was copying the confident walk, it was now second nature.

By the end of the three months, he had been lifting more than ten thousand tonnes so easily as light exercise. Furthermore, his hand to hand had grown so fast he was starting to doubt whether he should still go for the Vibranium and make his swords. But, the Kamikaze in him curbed that heresy everytime he thought of it. That morning, he was about to start his training when he heard someone knock at his door. Frowning slightly for Fury had told him nobody else knew of his location, he dropped the block lightly then went to check on who it was. When he opened the door, he saw Fury himself patiently waiting for him.

"Wonderful day to go on a quest, isn't it?" Fury started with a smile on his face. Godbrand was weirded out by this for he knew Fury would never start a sentence the way he did and he rarely smiled when in the presence of someone he barely knows, especially someone he does not trust at all.

"It sure is. Wanna come in?" Godbrand decided to play along and see what this pretender wanted. He paid close attention to how he walked and compared it to the Fury he saw last time. This one walked like he was toddling on eggshells, he had no environmental awareness and he was smiling, awfully lots of time!

"Good to see you are using the facility nicely. It's very comfy," 'Fury' said and Godbrand nodded.

"I tried to make it as homey as I could, glad you liked it," Godbrand said. Suddenly, he got hold of his bokken from its rack and slashed at 'Fury's' hand. He had done it in speeds close to peak human and was sure this fake would not dodge so he was surprised when he did exactly that. He dodged easily then did a roll to gain some distance and got up with his gun in hand.

"What's your problem?" he asked him, irritated.

"I don't know what you are thinking but if you think you can lie to me with that poor imitation of Fury then you have another thing coming, buddy," Godbrand growled back. The 'Fury' looked shock before bursting out laughing.

"He said it wouldn't work but I decided to do it anyway," he said before his skin started wiggling before turning green, alien like. "Nice to meet you, I am Sors, a member of the Skull race.'"
