Jessica wrapped her arms around my arm as she looked lovingly into my eyes. I gave a smug smirk before planting a kiss on her red, plump lips and yet it didn't as nice as his but a kiss is a kiss.
She then stoked the stray strand of hair that somehow got lost in my face and combed them to the side.
"There. That's better." She cooed as we continued to walk down the hall with her arms still wrapped around mine.
"Good morning Alpha." A guy suddenly greeted us when we approached the hall. He was wearing a white wife-beater with black jeans and running shoes. He looked at me with his dark blue eyes as I glared at him.
"Yeah." Was my only audible response.
"Good morning to you too, sis." The guy looked at Jessica who smiled at him as she unwraps her arms and approached him to give him a hug.
"Jerome! When did you arrive?" She asked as Jerome chuckled . "You should have called so I could have picked you up at the airport."
"Nah, sis. It would have ruined the surprise." Jerome replied as he looked at me. "I'm sorry Alpha. I forgot to introduce myself. "
He reaches out his hand towards me as I looked at it and back at him. A scowl formed around my lips as he retracted his hand.
"Er... I'm Jerome Grasslow. Jessica's brother." He cracked a smile but my scowl didn't changed. "Uhm... Nice to meet the infamous Blake Fang."
"Yeah. Whatever." I groaned as walked passed him and Jessica. People like him are like leeches that suck up to people like me to attain some sort of leverage on their social status. And I'm really good at judging at those kind of people.
Jessica looked at me and started to speak but I let out a disapproving growl that made her stop. She needs to learn to know her place.
I buried my hands inside my pocket and started to walk out the mansion. It's been quite busy here nowadays since my upcoming mating with Jessica.
I pass by a couple of other wolves that have been invited and I was greeted respectfully but I could care less. I looked at the fields across our yard and decided that I need a breather. So, I decided to strip off my clothes and lay them down on the ground.
I immediately shift into my wolf and the ground seemed to shake at my feet. I picked up my clothes with my mouth and started to run towards the forest as Jerome walks in front of me with a smug look in his face.
"You're quite in a hurry there, Alpha." He said as I shove him away by passing through him. Jerome grinned and ran beside me. "Sooo... Could I come?"
I'm getting quite pissed at this jerk. I growled at him as he started to approach me. As I bare my teeth, he immediately backs off as he raises his hand in surrender.
"OK. OK. I get it." He mustered a reply as he I kept glaring at him to leave. He nervously walk back until he was in a good distance away from me.
I stomped my foot and barked at him that made him fall back to the ground. I shifted back immediately and grabbed the collar of his shirt.
"Leave me alone, Grasslow." I spat at him before shoving him back forcefully to the ground. "Try pestering me again and I'll rip your guts out with my bare hands."
My threat seems to got into him as he swiftly scamper back into the mansion. The other wolves who was looking at us was either terrified or amused. But either way I just brushed them off by giving them the same treatment.
As everyone averted their gaze from me and returned back to their previous tasks, I dash towards the woods and shifted. Breathing heavily, I ran through the myriad of trees like a maze and soon afterwards I saw the clearing.
Bursting out off the dark woods, I was greeted by a wolf who immediately tackled me once I appeared. Out of impulse I lunged my teeth at its neck and took a tight grip on his skin.
A loud whimper escaped the wolf's throat as I kicked it violently away. I swiftly stood in all fours and circle around the attacker. Exposing my bloodied canines at it.
I seem to notice the whiteness of its fur that I begun to have doubts at my actions. I continued to circle around it and when I saw his green eyes a soft whimper escaped my lips as I lowered my guard.
I mentally cursed myself from not noticing him and now I just bit him. I slowly approached him as I saw blood dripping from the wound I happen to inflict on him.
But when I came closer, he immediately lashes towards me. Snapping his teeth as he caught my right leg and I would be lying if his bite was not hell.
I let out a pained growl that he seem to let go of his grip and looked at me with surprise in his eyes. He saw me lick the blood from my leg that he decided to approach me with his ears behind his head.
I growled at him as he whimpers back and when I saw the dejected look on his eyes, I immediately felt bad at lashing at him.
I slowly approach him with a whimper as I limp on my injured leg and as I was close he immediately licked my wound carefully. Throwing side glances at me with his apologetic eyes.
I nuzzled his neck while he cleans my wound when the scent of blood caught my nose. I shove his head upwards to look at the other side of his neck and found that his snow white mane was now drench in his red blood.
Feeling sorry, I started to lick his neck as I heard him whimper in pain but he remained still. I slowly cleaned his fur as his wounds stopped bleeding.
After that I looked at him apologetically, whimpering my apology as he nuzzled my face. I licked his snout as he playfully licked mine in response.
We held in that position as we buried ourselves in the aroma of one another. For once, I like the feeling of someone's warmth embrace me. He seemed to noticed my steadiness that hr pulled away, looking worried at me.
I lightly bump my nose to his as I showed him that I'm alright. He seemed hesitant at first but let it slide as he stood up and motioned me to follow him like the last time.
I stood on all fours and was surprised at the rapid healing on my right foot. Normally it will take half an hour to heal a wound deep as that but it did. He approached me and licked my ear that made me brush my head from the sensation.
I let out a gruff snort as he continued to walk forward. I quickly shorten our distance and soon after we were walking side by side.
I looked at him from the corner of my eye and admired at how magnificent his wolf was. We stood tall almost equal I presume and like our human bodies, our wolves look similar as well. Well, not in color but in physique.
"You know it's rude to stare." A voice echoed through my head as I stopped abruptly. He looked at me with apologetic eyes as he started to whimpered. "Sorry. Shouldn't have entered your thoughts."
"Is that you, Storm?" I asked hesitantly through my mind as he nodded. "Whoa. Didn't know you could do that?"
"Well, its sorta one of my talents." He explained as he motioned me to continue to follow him as he started walking.
"So, you just read people's minds for fun." I stated as he let out a mental chuckle.
"I don't do this often and on purpose you know. Honest!" He replied. "And I didn't expect you to let me in that easy. You must be pretty occupied in your thoughts."
I snort at him as I playfully bump on his side making him lose his balance for a minute. He shook his head and continued to walk forward.
"Hey." I called out to him through my mind once more as he quicken up the pace. He wasn't responding so I tried once again. "Yow." Still no response.
I ran a bit faster to look at him who has his eyes fixed forward. I gave a light bump on a side of his face with my nose to catch his attention.
"Aries." I called again with a whimper. I felt him chuckle through my mind. "Ass! You like making fun of me, are you?"
"A little." He replied as he stole a lick on my snout. "At least I manage you to call me by my name."
That jerk! I smile internally as we continued to race through the fields until we came to a jagged pile of rocks.
I surveyed the area and looked back at Aries. The wind was blowing gently at Aries that his fur made him look majestic and beautiful. Without speaking, he looked at me and his eyes found mine.
"If you're inviting someone over, you should have called earlier." A guy yelled from a near an oak tree. He was wearing a brown leather vest and rugged pants with the complimentary boots. "Oh, your mom was all excited that you're bringing him here, Alpha."
"It's still wise to call him with respect, Zephyr. He's still an Alpha after all." Aries replied as saw him back in his human form in full glory. Zephyr approached him with clothes in his hand. He handed a pair to Aries as I approached them as I shift back.
"Understood, Aries." Zephyr replied and looked at me while handing me the remaining clothes. "And these are for you Alpha Blake. Aries said to bring his clothes for you as well." He gave a smirk before looking back at Aries.
"He calls you by your name so casually." I said at Aries as I pulled up his pants who fit perfectly. His choice of clothes was quite like him. Simple yet great.
"I don't like my pack to treat me like an Alpha. I want them to treat me as a family member." He explained as a couple of other wolves crouch from a the trees. Keeping their distance and watching their Alpha.
"So, you're inviting me over to your place, huh?" I asked as Aries just reached out and grabbed my hand which made me stiff. I'm not comfortable of showing public affection especially holding a guy's hand in public.
"It's alright. No one will judge you here." Aries reassured me as I ease up and intertwined our fingers together as we continued to follow Zephyr to a Black Hummer that was parked in plain site.
"Well, if that's the case..." I cupped his chin and planted a kiss on his lips with his pack to see. "One for the road."
Aries smirked at me as I licked my lips seductively.
"Jerk." He replied playfully as we entered at the backseat of the jeep. Zephyr took the driver's seat and started the vehicle.
"Yeah. I'm that great."
