"I beg your pardon." I stared at Mrs. Fang upon hearing her call me by my father's name. "Did you just call me Stephen?"
She pause to look at me as she held her lips as if she had said something wrong.
"I must have mistaken you with somebody else?" Mrs. Fang replied. "I'm sorry, darling. You have to forgive this old lady."
I sighed as I looked at Blake who just rolled his eyes at his mother's forgetfulness. Letting it slide, I smiled at Mrs. Fang and reached out at the clothes that Blake was holding.
"It's OK Mrs. Fang. I'm sorry for assuming something. I overthink things sometimes." I replied as Blake just shot me a confused look.
"None was taken." Mrs. Fang smiled back.
I nod at her and looked at Blake once more as I reach out my hand again.
"What?" He growled at me as he shot daggers with his crimson red eyes.
I held my temples and frowned.
"Aren't those for me?" I asked annoyed. His face made a confused look before realizing what I meant.
"You could have said it, jerk." Blake spat as he threw the clothes at me. I caught them as they hit my chest and I shot him an amused smirk.
"Thanks, ass." I retorted which earned me a glare and a scowl from the guy in front of me.
"You got something to say, smart mouth.!" He steps forward and I met him halfway. Our glares meeting each other as our heads standing proudly.
"Yeah. Fuck off!" I leaned over his face and barked my reply. Blake didn't flinch but closed the gap even further that our faces where almost touching.
"You got a death wish, fag." He growled.
"Will the two of you stop this nonsense." Mrs. Fang yelled snapping our heads away. "There will be no name calling in my house or the very least in my presence!"
Blake and I hung our heads like bad little kids.
"Blake, learn your manners!" Mrs. Fang scolded at his son as a grin ran through my lips but she immediately looked at me with the same angry face. "And you young man! I expected more from you." She frowns at me as I heard Blake snicker.
She turns around and started to walk towards the door with her hands still on her hips.
"For the Goddess' sake! You two argue like lovers!" My cheeks flare up and can't imagine Blake's expression at his mother's choice of words. She turned around and looked at each of us before heaving a sigh. "Settle this now or you both won't hear the last of this."
I looked at Blake and instinctively he did the same by looking at me.
"Work things out." Mrs. Fang said before we heard the door shut close.
Still feeling the heat on my cheeks I turned my back at Blake and started to dress. As I ran my head down the shirt's hole, his scent envelopes my nose and after emerging from it, I adjust the fabric.
I noticed his shirt fits my body perfectly. It was kinda scary and cute at the same time that I shivered at the thought.
I glance over Blake's direction and found him lying on his bed with his arms over his face. I scanned his body and saw a glimpse of his abs from the exposed skin of his shirt and for some reason I felt blood rush to my cheeks.
"You're staring at me, aren't you." Blake finally spoke. I look at him with surprise all written in my face.
"How did you-" I paused and watched him purse his lips. My eyes ran down his throat and noticed his adam's apple bob nervously.
I hesitated at first but decided to approach him as I sit next at the edge of the bed, with a few inches away from his feet. I expected him to move away from me but he didn't. He remained in his position with his arms still over his face.
It was an awkward moment for us. Neither of us moved nor started a conversation. Just feeling the air of only us inside the room. Our breathing and warmth was the only thing noticeable.
Blake shifted and his foot brushed over my hand and we both froze upon contact. With him shooting up into sitting position like a deer on head lights.
It was weird in a good kind of way. Normally, we would be disgusted at each other. Even now that I'm no longer masking my scent, Blake didn't even said a word about it.
I saw him loosen up and looking away to the farthest place in the room that isn't me. He inhaled deeply before letting out a heavy sigh. Blake ran his right hand at the back of his copper black hair that seem to shine whenever the light touches it.
"Hey." He started.
"Hey." I answered back.
Then there was a moment of silence again as neither of us knew what to say next. I looked at the frames at his wall and skim over the photos of Blake.
I saw a photo that caught my attention that was located near the dresser. The frame was made of wood with fine carvings etch the surface.
A smile curled on my lips as I glanced at the young Blake wrapped around with his mother's arms. He was beaming a big smile and was so adorable.
"So." Blake's voice cuts off my trance as I turned around to look at him. "What now?" He was wearing that serious face of his again as he looked down to his feet.
I can't help but smile at the little things he does. I looked down as well and thought about his question.
What now?
I haven't thought about it after blindly coming here. Blame the compulsive possessiveness I have. I slid my foot in a circle as I pursed my lip.
I can't seem to find an answer. What do we do from here on out? I puffed my cheeks as I buried my face in my palms as I heaved a defeated sigh.
"Hey, Storm." Blake called out. I turned my head towards him and a pillow collided with my face.
I held the soft object between my hands as I glared at him. Blake was grinning from ear to ear as he leaned confidently at the bed post with his arms crossed. His smug expression was painted across his face as he looked at me.
"Aries." I started as Blake shot me a confused look. "Call me Aries. That's my name so you don't need to call me by my surname." I explained as he seems amused at my words.
"I'll call you what ever I like." He retorted back as he smirked.
"Still cocky are we?" I said turning my body to face him. "What makes you think I won't force you."
"Is that a challenge?" His expression became serious but still quite amused.
"Is it?" I continued as I kept my eyes trained at him. Blake didn't even break a sweat at my words yet his smirk grew darker as he kept looking at me with his dark red orbs.
"Is everything always a mind game to you?" Blake retorted as he frowns at me. I opened my mouth to reply but my brain drew a blank so I pursed my lips.
"Sorry." I apologized as I don't have anything to say but to apologize. It's nothing of an ego thing really. I was more distinctive when it comes to showing a person what was right for him.
Blake suddenly stood up and approached me.
"Hey!" He scolds as he flicked his finger over my forehead. "What are you apologizing for?"
I held the part where he flicked me and glance up to meet his eyes. Blake was looking down at me but wasn't frowning anymore.
"Will you quit that already?" He scratches his nape as he averted his eyes. A tint of pink flush across his cheeks.
"Quit what?" I asked. He needs to be honest and speak his mind out sometimes. "I'm not psychic, you know." I'm not but I can try to read his thoughts.
He lowers his eyes while still trying to not look at me.
"Looking at me with that face." He started. I raised a brow at him as I'm genuinely confused.
He might felt my confusion that he continued to explain.
"You know. Making those puppy dog eyes." I noticed his cheeks turn red as he continued.
"Do they bother you?" I asked as I stood up.
"Yes. No." He responded by looking annoyed at me but his face was telling me otherwise. "Just. Just act normal around me, OK."
"I'm acting normal." I retorted as I slowly approach him. Blake unconsciously moves a step back while glaring at me. "And how do you know I'm not acting normal? We just met only a couple of times."
"Yeah. I know." He answered back as he glared at me and yet he seem to be more relaxed. "It's just I feel uneasy whenever your around. Whenever you're near me." He paused and I felt like it was back when we were mates and he was about to reject me. "And you know the worst part?" He looked at me like a beaten pup. "I like it."
My heart might have stop beating for awhile as the whole room stops into a halt. Did I just heard him say what I think I heard him say?
Blake swallowed to what seemed a lump in his throat before proceeding to approach me. And this time it was me who was walking back.
When my leg touched his bed, I stopped and stiffen like a board while still looking straight into his eyes. I felt him cup my chin as I slowly felt his warm breath touch my lips.
I was waiting for him to pull up and say it was a mistake or even a joke but what came next never made me happier that I was wrong.
He crashed his lips into mine as he softly asked permission for me to open up. I looked of surprise in my eyes might have spoke to him that he gently parted slightly just to speak.
"Could you at least let me kiss you?" He said as he looked into my eyes. "Just a kiss."
"Just a kiss." I repeated still looking into his eyes as he nodded.
"Man, do you still need to think it through?" He ask yet I can't seem to trace a single tone of annoyance or irritation in his voice. "You're the one kissing me all this time."
"Fine." I replied as I rolled my eyes followed by a light chuckle.
He leaned again and our lips touched. I felt the softness of his lips brush across mine as I parted them to allow him access to my mouth.
When I finally let him in, it was a fight for dominance. The kiss turned deeper as our tongues fought dancing in a never ending battle. I heard him moan as I grabbed the back of his head to deepen the kiss.
Blake grabbed my nape and fought back earning a moan from me. Never have I been happy from being challenged in a kiss. Blake was, as expected, a great kisser. His lips scorched mine as his tongue dance with mine.
We fell into his bed with him on top of him as we continued to kiss passionately. And when we broke out for a breather, I pushed him to my side as I claimed his lips again. Pinning him down as he welcome my assault on him.
Grinding our hips together I felt our ranging manhood rub against the rough fabric of our pants.
Blake slid his lips down and bit the lower part of my lips as a moan escaped my throat. I looked at his eyes and saw something more than desire. He was looking back at me and he seemed to be at peace with himself.
But I won't let him win this battle. I immediately grabbed a fistful of his hair and pulled him away before crashing my lips back, biting his lower lip as well. And as expected, I heard the most sexiest moan I could hear and it was coming from the guy under me.
"Shit!" I cursed as I pulled him away as I nibbled his neck as he did with mine.
"Shut up." He moaned as he pushed me to the side as tried to pin me down but like him our strength was kinda equal. He was just content as his teeth scrape my skin.
"We should stop." I spoke but with hesitation in my tone. Why the hell would I want to stop doing this? Oh, I forgot. I mentally slapped myself.
"Do you want to?" Blake asked.
I pulled him away and looked into his hopeful red eyes.
"I don't but we should save this for another time." I explained as I saw the disappointment in his eyes and yet he tried to smile.
We pulled apart and sat up on the bed. Thank the goddess we didn't thrash the place yet.
"Fine." He tried to sound annoyed. "But you owe me one." I looked at him and he did the same. "So what does this make us?"
I shrugged. "I dunno." I answered honestly and he seems to agree. "But we could at least try to see things through this time."
"Start from the beginning." He explained as he gave a shrug as well. "I could do that." He looks at me and gave me a heartwarming smile. "As long as its you."
We held the back of each other's head and leaned over as our foreheads are touching.
"Me too."
