The kiss wasn't long and it was just for a few seconds, but Samantha could tell Lei Zhen wasn't in the mood for the kiss when it happened.

He was still not in his right mind. Even after she had pulled her mouth away from his, he was still confused, almost as if he couldn't comprehend the situation.

"Don't look at me like that. I merely did what I had promised." Samantha smiled and poke his forehead softly.

"But I wasn't focusing…" Lei Zhen pouted like a little kid.

And before he could even continue his next words, Samantha leaned back in her seat, but still allowed Lei Zhen to lay his head on her shoulder.

"You are not getting another kiss, Lei Zhen. I can tell you would have used your tongue if I actually kissed you while you were focused." She added, teasing his naughty behavior.

Regretfully, Lei Zhen could only accept her shoulder as a consolation prize in the end. He wasn't lying when he really felt nothing in the kiss since his mind was still blank at that moment.
