Owen's Gift

“Woah, easy bro. Why are you getting so hyped up?” Brian raised his brows. “I am not interested in Emma that way, I was talking to her about her roommate Anna.”

Without waiting for his reply, Brian shrugged, “And even if I was interested in her in a romantic way, I don’t see anything bad there. She is a young beautiful woman, if I wasn’t into Anna, I would definitely be into her.”

“Don’t even think about it,” he warned him. “If you are into Anna, just focus on her.”

“Oh my God, look at you being all possessive and jealous—” Brian chuckled. “When was the last time I saw you like this?” Pretending to think, he exclaimed, “Oh right, NEVER.”

“Now I am more curious about what happened that night.” Neither Owen nor Daniel told him anything about what had exactly happened the night they went drinking. Even though he had nagged and begged them to an extent where he felt sad and pity for himself, both of them refused to tell him anything.
