"Now that's a tough one." Chugging down the leftover champagne directly from the bottle, she said, "I need some time to think."

Her Double Trouble

When Emma looked at her and raised her brows, Anna quickly explained, “Remember those fused bulbs in the washroom and store room? Brian is here to help us replace them.” 


“Oh, I see—” Emma looked at Brian and smiled. “That’s very kind of you.” 


“Pleasure is all mine.” Brian raised his beer bottle at her before taking a sip. “I’m always happy to help pretty ladies.” 


"Go sit down, Em. I'll get you something to drink." 


"That's fine—" Emma stopped her. "I’m a little tired, so I'll head to my bedroom." She patted Anna's shoulder. "Mr. Miller must be really very tired after changing the two bulbs. You should treat him to dinner for helping us solve such a big problem." 


Without waiting for her reply, Emma walked into her room, giving Anna and Brian some privacy. 


After taking a quick shower, Emma slumped on the bed. She rubbed her stomach and sighed. She had eaten way too much and was feeling very bloated.
