"If given a chance, who would you rather, Daniel or me?" Owen asked. 

"Now that's a tough one." Chugging down the leftover champagne directly from the bottle, she said, "I need some time to think."

Her Double Trouble

Tossing the document on the table, Daniel frowned. "What?" 


When Owen continued grinning, he snapped, "Are you here just to annoy me?" 


"Oh my God, will you calm down?" He sighed. "You have been moody all week. Control your hormones." 


"Owen—" Daniel sighed. "We both have a lot of work to do, so why don't you just tell me what you want to and—" 


"Relax," he cut him off. "When do we not have work? We are always swamped, but that does not mean we have to work all day and night." 


"And tomorrow is a big day, isn't it?" When he did not say anything, Owen added, "I heard you are coming with Katherine." He chuckled. "Not bad little brother, the woman is hot." 


"Who told you that I am taking Katherine?" Daniel frowned. 


"Well, I am sure the entire town knows by now." Owen chuckled. "Why Katherine, though? You like her?" 


Daniel glared at him. "You do realise that the only girl I like is going with you, right?"
