Guilt

Yuri looked at Damon. His eyes glistened with tears while his lips were plastered with a sad smile.

"I know you did not do this on your own.” Damon squatted in front of him. “You were working for someone else, weren’t you?”

He kept quiet, waiting for Yuri to say something, but the latter did not utter a word.

Damon was about to persuade him more when Yuri looked at Owen and Daniel. “Your father was a great man; there is absolutely no doubt about that. He was a great father, a very good husband and son, but all great men have their flaws. Your father had flaws too and that flaw cost him his life."

Yuri clutched his chest and started coughing vigorously.

Daniel grabbed a glass of water and gave it to him. "What flaws are we talking about here?"

Yuri took a few sips of the water before tossing the glass on the floor. "I don't think I am the right person to answer that question."

He looked at Daniel and then at Owen. "Maybe you should ask your mother or grandfather."
