ENTRY V

The freshness of the water was mesmerizing. Never have we tasted such fresh mountain river. We continued to walk, stopped for a moment, looked at the valley below. The village was near.

"Do you see it?" I said.

"What?" Myuri replied. "I don't see a thing."

"Look closer, do you see it?"

"What?"

"I said closer. Do you see it?"

"The village?"

"Yes, we close."

"What village is that?"

"Rulbik."

"You never told me, what are you doing here?"

"Neither have you."

"True, but, I am traveling this countryside, in search for a place to call my own. What about you?"

"I'm going west."

"West, why west?"

"I have some unfinished things there."

"Shall we go?"

"Yes."

The path was narrow, so narrow that even a normal sized could find difficult passing through, but I somehow found a way to squeeze through.

"We made it," Myuri said, after a short break.

"Yes."

"What happening in the village?"

"I don't know?"

"Shall we take a look?"

"Yes."

They slowly went to the front gate, a group of peasants stood with axes, pitchforks and anything they could get their hands on. I moved forward:

"Tell me, my good man, what seems to be the problem?"

"What seems to be the problem? Ask those knights, they are waiting for you."

"For me?"

"Yes."

"What do they want?"

"Go and ask them yourself."

"No need, here they are."

The leader of the knights, a tall man, stepped forward:

"I was right, wasn't I? You have come."

"Why are you here?"

"Why? We came to deliver a message."

"What kind of a message?"

"The Talmir's have discovered something interesting for you to see."

"Do you know what have they discovered?"

"They didn't say. Our work here is done, knights, we move."

The knights turned and left.

"What now?" Myuri pulled my slew.

"Now we go to their village." I replied.

"Is it far?"

"A few days walk, north from here."

"Can it wait?"

"Maybe, if there is a reason."

"I found a nice, cozy and warm place just for us."

I end this entry here, I have no more ink in the ink stand and you, dear reader, use your imagination. I will return with a bottle or two.
