ENTRY VI

I have returned.

After a few days of walk, finally the Wolf Stone appeared. The tall, strange formation, covered in moss, looked more and more like sitting wolf. It was more than obvious that magic had a hand here.

"Is that stone real?" Myuri asked with excitement.

"Yes." I replied.

"It wasn't hand or magic made?"

"No, that stone stood as long as most men can remember."

"What is so special about it? It looks like any strangely formed stone."

"It's the border with Talmir."

"Border?"

"Natural type of a border."

"How close are we?"

"Really close, see the man in one of the openings?"

"Yes."

"Good, wave at him."

"Why?"

"He will see you as a friend."

"Alright."

"The man disappeared in one of the openings.

"Where is he doing?"

"To inform the others, that friends are here."

"Why?"

"Only a friend would wave a Talmir."

"Isn't it natural?"

"They are warriors, so, to them it isn't."

"I will remember that."

"Their village is nothing spectacular."

"What do you mean by that?"

"It's plain."

We entered, the elder greeted us.

I stood in the center of the group, opposite the elder. The elder, an old man with long white hair that danced with the change of the wind, looked in the distance of the village. Next to him sat a woman with long raven hair and a man with a square jaw. His eyes, reminded me, that the wolves can take human form. Was this man a wolf?

At first I had my doubts. And again, the eyes were cold and wolf like, too cold for a human. The man moved closer. Now, I was completely sure that this man was a wolf.

I moved my left leg forward, if I moved my right leg, it would be a sign of disrespect. When a man moves his left leg, he signals that he's interesting in the activities that are happening around him. The moving of the right is more than a sign of disrespect. Myuri sat in silence.

"I see that you know our customs," the elder said.

"I do," I replied.

"It's uncommon for a stranger to know our customs."

"Where I have been, everything is common."

"A great wanderer, no doubt?"

"Yes."

"I will tell one tale that I heard."

"Do tell."
