ENTRY VII

After the finished stories, the group sat in silence. It was more than needed silence; it was a silence that calmed the nerves. Myuri looked at them all.

"It's time," the elder said. "It's time to show you what we have discovered."

"Aye," I looked at the elder.

The elder stood up, went to the house behind and took something from it. In his hand he was holding a key. He gave it to me.

"What's that?" Myuri asked.

"One of the keys."

"To where?"

"To the cursed treasure of King Galbar."

"That King Galbar?"

"Yes."

"What does that mean?"

"That's an easy one."

"Is it?"

"Yes."

"And the meaning?"

"This is only the beginning."

"Of what, if I may ask?"

"Of our search."

"Our?"

"I know that you are coming with me."

"Are you so sure?"

"Yes."

"You are right there."

"I know."

"That's an easy one."

"Is it?"

"Yes. Do you know what is new?"

"No."

"Strange."

"What is strange?"

"Just one thing."

"What thing? What are you hiding?"

"Can't you see?"

"Is something different with you?"

"Yes."

"Don't tell me, you are pregnant?"

"Yes."

"When did that happen?"

"Right after we meet."

"You had your period, didn't you?"

"Yes."

"Great."

"Is it?"

"Yes."

Who knows what else has fate in stored for me. Good or bad? Only time will tell.

All I could is pray for better cards in this large and strange cosmic game.

"If you are so good at telling stories, why don't you tell me one?" Myuri asked.

"I will," I replied with a smile.
