"He's got his beauty from his father," Finnea replied smiling softly at Langris.
"And Rolem has grown to become a very fit boy," Elora continued looking at the young man.
Rolem's cheek reddened while he scratched the back of his head and nervously smiled.
"Your daughters are quite the pearl too... their beauty seems to be unrivaled in the kingdom!" Tirinia then intervened, "do they intend to join a hallow practitioner's academy?"
"Yes, we do..." It was the young woman with brown hair who responded with a tender smile, "we intend to join Zixons academy, what about the young Wranven lords?"
It took some time for Rolem and Langris to answer, but Langris eventually responded, "we too want to join what is best, in other words, the Zixons academy,"
"It would be nice if all four of us could pass the academy, I hope you the best, young Wranven lords," She responded.
Before any other topic could be raised, a pile of servants entered the room with various luxurious and noble dishes.
"Free exp..." Langris said when he smelt the delicious food.
[After dinner]
The Valhoran family had left right after dinner, and Langris had already gone to his chambers so he could train on his breathing mastery.
After nearly two hours of concentration and rhythmic breathing, Langris had entered a state of deep concentration which created an invisible field of Zeal Energy around him.
He was seated legs crossed, and his body was slightly glowing white while his hair was floating upwards.
Suddenly, Langris felt a rush of wind all around hit his body as if he was splashed all around his body. This caused the glowing light on his body to intensify, dissipating and vanishing after a few seconds.
< Congratulations you have reached breathing 2 >
Langris was sweating and lay on his bed before noticing that the message had appeared.
"I'm making progress," Langris said reaching for a handkerchief to clean his face of all the sweat.
As he was wiping the sweat off his face, he started to recall Alea and thought of how pretty she was.
"I understand why people think she is the prettiest, even Lensa doesn't look that nice and she is last year's most gorgeous woman according to Crypto magazine..."
Lensa, Langris's cousin had become the commander of the Grey Dragons, the royal family's personal King's guards. This is why she was never home, and barely had time to visit her family.
< You are tired, you must rest >
"It's been a long day..." Langris whispered laying back on his bed, "I hope I'll be able to practice my Nirvana chains more, but tomorrow is school, for fucks sake..."
It only took him a few minutes before falling to sleep because he had spent a lot of energy on breathing training.
[ Spongebob meme: the next day]
Langris and Rolem were already in the carriage heading to school.
"You've discovered a new attack already?" Rolem asked fixing his hair in a ponytail.
"Yes I have, the attack just summons a chain that can pierce through a tree trunk..." Langris replied.
"Does this mean your filial is about chains or something?" Rolem asked.
Langris looked at the palm of his hand and started to have a serious and thoughtful expression.
"There is not enough information for me to make such a statement. At the end of the day, maybe it can be a chain filial, or it can also be that angels use to have filials as well and this is just one of the many they have..." He said thoughtfully with his eyes frowned.
"Your right, for now, we can't make any assumptions for now we-"
"Excuse me, young lords, we have arrived at the school," The one riding the carriage said.
The two boys got out of the carriage and entered the school premises, and they immediately spotted Rayzen.
"Langris, did you hear the news?" Rayzen said as soon as he got close to them.
"What news?" Langris asked back not very concerned about what he was going to say.
"Our class is going to have a field trip with the Raven school," Rayzen replied with his fist lifted at the level of his waist.
"And what is so special about it?" Langrish asked Rayzen.
"This time the field trip will be with the Graine temple, the same school that the Valhoran family attends!" He exclaimed with sparkling eyes tilting his head to the skies.
'What a coincidence, just after we met...' Langris thought.
He had the chance to meet with the Valhoran family and he could now see the power level of the family and determine how strong they are compared to his family.
"That's funny," Rolem shouted with a smirk slapping Langris' back, "you'll be able to strengthen the relationship with the Valhoran family!"
Rolem headed to his class and the two friends did the same. On their way, they talked about the Valhoran family and Langris explained his encounter with them yesterday.
"It wasn't the way you think it was," Langris said with an annoyed expression trying to convince Rayzen he wasn't going to marry anyone, "stop talking nonsense and let's just get to class!"
When they entered the classroom, most of the students were there except the teacher. There were still a few minutes before class started. Students that would be late for class the school would be punished harshly regardless of their family's status.
The two students went to their usual seats and sat down to wait for the teacher, and after less than 2 minutes, Ms. Morgana finally arrived.
"Good Morning class," she slowly said with frowned eyebrows and a firm voice.
The whole class stood from their seat and greeted Ms. Morgana and sat back down.
"As most of you may know, today we are going on a field trip with another class and whole other school," She continued, "However, you students call this field trip, but us tutors call this a training,"
She paused at the end of what she had said for the students to understand, and the students were looking at each other with puzzled faces.
"You will find out once we get there," She said with a slight smirk, "In 10 minutes we will be leaving for the Stable camp,"
She left the class once again leaving the students alone to discuss what she had just said.
"Damn it, I was hoping to just have a relaxed time with the beauties of the Graine temple," Rayzen sighed leaning his head on his hand.
Langris smiled when she looked at Rayzen's disappointed face, all his excitement of before had gone just by hearing the words training, and Stable camp.
The Stable camp was one of the few forests in the human kingdom that had the lowest grade monsters. The council decided to place a protective barrier around the forest, and build a small combat and weaponry building in front of the shop entrance.
It would be used for the youth to train on their combat and filial mastery, and also to experience real-life danger, however, to enter the camp, you have authorization and protection just in case something were to happen.
'This is the best way to train on my new acquired technique,' Langris thought with his hand on his chin, 'and I will also be able to see what the Valhoran family is capable of,'
