The Fighters Class

I woke up to someone pounding on my door. I groaned as I rolled out of bed and walked to the door. I opened it to see Molly standing there.

"Mr. Dewitt, you need to get ready." Her voice trailed off as she saw my shirtless body.

"Ok, Miss Molly I'll be ready in a moment," I replied turning around and grabbing a shirt.

She stammered something before turning around with a flip of her hair. I chuckled as I followed her to the administration building. She took me to the teachers' lounge. Three instructors were standing and talking to each other.

"Hey Molly, is this him?" A large man asked looking down at me.

"Yeah, this is the one brought by Yi Meng." She replied quietly.

The large man circled me studying me. His eyes looked me up and down.

"How old are you?" He asked gruffly

"Sixteen sirs." I replied keeping eye contact.

He grunted and nodded to the other two teachers who had been observing the situation.

"Have you killed anyone?" A female teacher wearing skimpy clothing asked me with a weird look on her face.

"Yes," I replied without taking my eyes off the large guy who was still studying me.

Molly looked at me with a bit of shock as did the big guy. Another skinny male teacher grabbed my wrist and took my pulse.

"He has strong energy, almost like a vacuum. He is defiantly strange Marcus what are your thoughts on him?" He asked looking me in the face.

"His aura is impressive, and he wasn't lying about killing. I can smell the blood on him. How many have you killed Jason?" The large man called Marcus asked.

"One, and he deserved every second of agony I put him through," I replied with ice in my tone. Marcus took a slight step back.

"Holy cow did you see that, Lucas? He made Marcus take a step back!" The woman laughed in a high-pitched giggle.

"Be quiet Vicky," Marcus growled while glaring at me.

Molly stood behind me quietly as the teacher bombarded me with questions. Before long I could feel Molly getting frustrated. She pushed me behind her.

"Hey, would one of you decide who is going to teach him? Your classes are waiting on you." Her voice raised which made the teachers snap to attention.

"Thank you, Molly," I whispered in her ear.

She jumped a little before spinning around and punching my arm.

"Don't do that Dewitt!" She growled, glaring at me.

"The problem is we are all interested in him. He looks like he could be an ace student." Marcus replied rubbing his chin in thought.

I looked at the three in front of me and scratched my head.

"What can you offer me?" I asked.

"Vicky is a master in stealth arts and cultivation methods related to such arts, and Lucas is the pill cooking instructor. He is the best at teaching you how to make cultivation pills. I obviously will teach you the most direct way to fight. I teach cultivation methods related to strength." Marcus said explaining their specialties.

I thought about it for a minute and then an idea popped up in my head.

"How about this, I'll stay with each of you, mastering each skill you have to offer before moving to the next teacher. Never can learn too much am I right?" I chuckled.

The three of them looked at each other and began discussing it in hushed voices. After several minutes they turned to me and nodded.

"We can agree to that, however, you will be targeted by other students for being favored by teachers. If you can withstand that kind of pressure, then we can agree to it. However, you will get to be with one of us on different days in succession. One day it'll be me, the next Lucas, then Vicky. In that order then repeat." Marcus replied for the three of them.

"I can agree to that," I replied.

Marcus smiled and motioned for me to follow him. I waved goodbye to Molly who just huffed at me and disappeared down the hallway. Marcus led me through the large administration building and out towards the arena. He was silent for the most part other than him humming a weird tune. We walked through the arena gates and there stood a few people I recognized. The weird redhead was standing with her hands on her hips and the big guy was in the back sitting on a bench seat with the rest of his goons. The goons saw me and started tapping Dracus's shoulder. The big guy took one look at me and stood up. He lumbered over to stand in front of me, towering over me.

"Can I help you?' I asked coldly looking up at the man.

"I heard you beat my friends." He grumbled in a low voice.

"You mean I taught them some manners after the girl over there beat your ass and they tried to jump her then your right," I replied glaring at him.

Marcus stood by watching without interfering. His hand on his chin. Dracus glared at me before rearing back his hand. He swung with nothing but brute force. I simply pointed towards his fist, stopping the blow with my index finger.

"You need to learn when you're outmatched Dracus. Now I have to hurt you just to save my face." I said grabbing his fist.

He looked at me with shock on his face that quickly turned to fear as I twisted his arm. He tried to punch me again only for his arm to be slapped away. I kicked his leg behind his knee. He fell to his knees as I continued to twist his arm, I felt it pop from its socket. Dracus howled in pain as I dropped his arm. I turned to the rest of the class to see the redhead acting weird and the others with wide-open mouths.

"I will warn you, do not cross me. I don't care whose backing you. I have no family you can pressure, no one that you can use to threaten me. If you get in my way I will cut you down. This is the only warning you get; the next time don't blame me for taking your life." I said glaring at the entire class and then back to Dracus, who was being attended to by his goons.

The rest of the class went quietly with Marcus teaching us strengthening exercises. The redhead kept trying to get close to me before she finally managed to corner me yet again.

"Why do you keep bothering me?" I asked becoming impatient with the situation.

"I find you fascinating. My name is Alicia. You ran off before I could tell you the last time." She replied trying to get closer to me.

"Space women's personal space please." I began to panic.

I had never interacted with girls my age, so I was extremely uncomfortable with the entire situation. She smiled slyly as if she could tell what my uneasiness was caused by.

"You're a virgin, aren't you?" She giggled while putting her finger under my chin.

"I wasn't allowed to interact with others," I replied quietly.

She looked at me shocked for a second before tottering off mumbling about how I ruined the fun of teasing me. The class ended without further incident, so I went to the food court and then back to my room. I decided to focus on my cultivation.
