The Train Ride Part 2

I woke to a loud banging on our cabin door. Heng stood up and answered it. A large, bearded man stood at our door looking upset.

"Heng how dare your disciple act rudely towards my darling daughter. Does he dare do so towards me?" The man howled.

I jumped off my bed and moved Heng behind me.

"Do I do what exactly? have my guard up against attractive females in a competitive setting where people have a history of poisoning other contestants? Or the fact that you nor anyone on this train can scare me including Elder Feng? Should I quake in fear just because a dog raises his muzzle and growls at me? I don't care who you are, do not come to be causing issues." I replied to the man.

His face showed the shock of someone standing up to him, a man who is used to bullying everyone in his path because of his position. He took a step into our car placing his hands around my throat. I had prepared for this. As his fingers gripped my throat, I dropped all my weight wrapping my legs around his torso, a blade pointed between his second and third rib.

"I don't mind dying, do you?" I glared at him fully committed to taking his life.

The man's grip loosened just enough for me to use my arm to pry a handoff. I punched him several times in the face, forcing his remaining hand to release my throat. The man fell backward into the hallway trying desperately to defend himself against my attacks. My knife still dug into his ribs. Heng grabbed me and forced me back into the cabin. Several disciples had gathered in the hallway to see the commotion. Heng struggled to keep me back as I wanted to strangle the man for putting his hands on me.

"Your disciple is like a rabid dog, hopefully, someone puts him down." The man stammered as he tried to get up. He wiped the blood from his face and stormed down the train car.

Heng sighed and shook his head closing our door.

"Jason you are extremely tactless." He said as he sat down.

"No, he's just empty-headed," Yi said with a smile.

"Sister do I need to spar with you?" I asked smiling back at her.

She put up her hands in defense as a joke. we play and fought for a minute before she had me in a headlock.

"Stop it why are your boobs so massive you're suffocating me!" I howled fighting back against her.

She ruffled my hair and let me go laughing with delight at her victory over me. Heng chuckled as he got comfortable for the night. We small talked for about an hour before we decided to turn in for the night. The next day started almost like any other, we ate together enjoying a typical family morning. I was enjoying myself before, yet another knock interrupted our peace. I stood up and answered it to find Alicia standing there with a massive smile. I slammed the door with a sigh and looked at Yi Meng. She looked confused and went to the door.

"Alicia, what are you doing here?" I asked as she opened the door.

"I have an engagement to break off with your family so I'm here." She replied flipping her crimson hair.

She barged in and sat on my lap without permission.

"I found someone much more entertaining anyway. Too bad For Chi Feng huh?" She said putting her finger on my chin.

I shied away extremely uncomfortable. She giggled at my struggle burying her face into my neck. Heng looked like he was bursting with joy. The fact that the fiancé of a child of his mortal enemy was clinging to me had made his entire day. He was beaming with a wide smile silently applauding me. Yi Me3ng looked furious at the situation. I looked at her pleading for help mentally. She caught my eye, stuck her tongue out at me, and huffed turning her head away from me. I sighed as I tried to peel the girl off of me. Alicia looked up at me with big doe eyes.

"Am I not good enough for you? Am I not pretty enough to catch your attention?" She cooed at me.

"It's not that you're not, I just get uncomfortable in these kinds of situations." I managed to stammer out.

She smiled and gasped pointing her finger towards the window. I looked out it and seeing nothing I looked back at Alicia. I felt a softness touch my lips that could only be described as heavenly. Her eyes locked onto mine and widened in horror at what just happened. She quickly hopped off my lap and looked extremely embarrassed.

"I only meant to kiss your cheek; you rogue!" she stammered before running out of the room.

Yi Meng looked horrified and Heng was just beside himself with laughter and glee. I just sat there in a daze wondering what had just happened. I could feel my face burning with embarrassment. My mind is just blank. I felt myself holding my breath, I exhaled and fell over lightheaded. My brain short-circuited. I felt overwhelmed like my entire world was spinning.

"You ok there Jason? Seems like you bit off more than you can chew." Heng chuckled.

I looked at him with pure dread in my eyes. He laughed and slapped my shoulder.

"See I told you, you would do fine for partners. Get ready we are almost at the station we need to get off at. The rest of the family will be ready for absolutely anything. They will try to get revenge for losing face. They have already tried getting close to you Jason." Heng made sure to remind me of exactly what I was up against.

I nodded as the train conductor announced our arrival and we could see several trains pulling into the station in unison. Each one had at least a thousand masters and disciples, the station immediately flooded with people. each group trying to gather everyone in their sect in one place. Things were about to get crazy.
