Ghost Fire

I gathered things to get ready for the visit to the ghost Fire sect. Amanda seemed ready for whatever we were about to face. She kept pacing around me as I got ready. Her excited movements were annoying to me when I was trying to focus on the task at hand. I put my hand on her shoulder to stop her from rushing around. She stopped and looked at me with eyes filled with anxiety.

"What's your problem, Amanda?" I asked a little concerned.

"I don't know if I'm ready to fight. I haven't ever been in an actual fight. My brothers would typically handle such things." She quietly replied.

I looked at her with kind of a shocked expression.

"You came here knowing that the possibility of fighting was high despite never actually fighting anyone?" I asked glaring at her.

She looked at the ground trying to hide her face from my disapproving glare.

"I figured I had to start somewhere, and I'm a thrown to the wolves type of person." She said quietly.
