Divine Beast

The beast fought ferociously, its scarred-up mug snapping at everyone around him. I decided it was time to even up the odds. I jumped from my hiding spot and landed between the beast and men. I turned to the beast and smiled.

"Rest fierce one. Let me take it from here." I said turning back towards the enemy.

The men stepped back as the beast seemingly understood what I had said.

"Child can you please not trouble us, its soul and core are priceless." An older gentleman stepped forward, He seemed to know or was able to see how strong I was.

He sweated profusely in front of me as he fiddled with his hands.

"To bad for you I'm not even here for him, How should I tell you this? Your elder has made a grave attempt of killing me, instead of talking as I had requested of him. Unfortunately, that means my next steps have been decided for me." I said coldly as I walked, ever so slowly towards them.
