Chapter 3 In search

"Who..again..? questioned Jareth. "Cain Duncan , ? " murmured Andre.

"Andre, we will find him I will send Bennett, he is one of the best tracker . He will find him." said Jareth. Jareth shouted "Bennett, Come here. "

When Bennett heard that Jareth voice, he came running to the tent. "Boss, why did you called me .? " . "I heard you are the best tracker. You and I going to find one of my missing student . " Said Andre. " Hey old man.." without letting him speak Jareth ordered "Bennett go with him. And find his student. " "Okay, Boss, I will get my things ." replied Bennett . "Andre, is there a need for you to go " . Andre replied "Yes, it is.He is the youngest son of Aron Duncan. And while I go find him. Just accompany my students to the academy. And tell the Dean what has happen. "

"What son of Aron Duncan .. Dammit , If he is his son, than I am coming with you ." replied Jareth. " No just escort my students safely . And according to the incidents happened till now. Nothing is coincidence , the bone golem and the Red spike Snake. I think everything was planned." Hearing Andre's thoughts Jareth said "If he is kidnapped , but who is so crazy that to attack his youngest son. ..?" .

"That I don't know ,I will just need to find him and safely send him to the academy. the Dean will handle all. Just do another favor while going take that bone golem with you. The academy will find out what it is ." said Andre. "Than take Lynn with you ,she will be of help. "

said Jareth .

"Professor, I am completely with my preparation. Let's leave now, unless the tracks are erased. " said Bennett

. "Andre take care of them, I will accompany your students to the academy. And good luck in finding him. " said Jareth .With that Andre, Bennett and Lynn set to find Cain.

Area covered with blood and the body of the Red spike Snake lying down on the ground.When Andre's group reached the place , they heard munching sound from the corpse . Hearing the sound Andre signalled them to not to make noise and move quietly.

"It's that a flame fox ,eating it's corpse." whispered Bennett. Hearing the whisper ,the flame fox ran towards Andre's group . Without wasting any second , Andre unsheathed his sword and swung towards the flame fox , the sword cut through the fox into two. Seeing the fox been halved by Andre, Bennett touched his neck, 'if , I have been rude to Andre in the tent , I don't know I would have survived. Thanks boss for looking out.' Bennett praised Jareth .

"let's inspect this place." Said Andre. "Yes, Professor " responded Bennett.

Bennett started searching around the place and he found footprint below a broken twigs at the side of the place. The footprint were not of any beast or of any student . "Professor, Lynn come here." said Bennett. Andre and Lynn rushed to Bennett.Picking up the twig, Bennett said "Professor you see this , there is a light footprint here and it goes to that side opposite to tent and there were two of them, and they were using light footwork. ". "How can you be sure.? " asked Andre. "There are no tracks around here, but only these . Whoever they are they made it so we can find them. " answered Bennett. "Then let's follow it, " said Andre. "What, If it's a trap" asked Lynn. " Whoever they are , I will take care of them. " said Andre.

Their party started following the tracks.No matter which beast came, they were taken care by Andre. The tracks led to a secluded cave. When they reach the cave, they found three hooded guy , and their face covered with White Mask , seeing them Andre stop his tracks. " Professor Andre , it took you long enough. " said a hoarse voice. Hearing the mask person, Andre unsheathed his sword. "Don't Andre , we don't want a fight. Our work is done. Until next time professor " with that the three vanish. Andre ran towards the place. 'Teleportation circle, there were buying time huh , but where the hell is Cain . And what with our work is done. ' thought Andre.

Suddenly light came from the cave. Andre group rushed inside the cave. They saw Cain lying down. Lynn bend down and checked Cain . She started chanting 'By the Goddess of life ,Let the godess heal your body, mind and soul. ' . Lynn again checked Cain and found there there is something in his body. "He is alive, there is no physical or mental attack done on him. But there is traces of Demon's energy near his heart. ". "What corrupted energy..?" asked Andre. " Don't worry Andre, the energy is sealed. We need to take him to the Temple .The priest can take care of it. " said Lynn. "No, this should not get out. Let's bring him to the Academy . The Dean will take care of him. " "But what was that light.There is nothing here. " asked Bennett. "Let's leave this place it's getting dark. We stay at the the spiral valley and move at the first ray of sunlight. " said Andre.

At a dark palaces clanking sound of chains could be heard and "Grrrrr, Grrrr, Grrrr" sound can be heard. Suddenly three mask people just came out of thin air. They saw a bald old man sitting on the chair, he was reading some paper. One of them came forward and said , "Master, we completed the task. " "Ho ,Ho, So what was the result ?". Questioned the old man. "Negative master, the body rejected it. " said the masked man. "That's surprising , what's the information wrong. OK than you can go now. " murmured the old man. "Master, we are sorry about the bone golem " said the mask man. "Did you bring the core . "

"Yes, master. Here it is " taking out the red core and placing on the table. Bowing to the old man the Trio left the room. 'Another failure, I should find the vessel soon. ' murmured the old man. "I have to report the others. For now let's see what this does. " the old man pick out a syringe . He injected the syringe inside the chained beast. "Now it's done. Let's see how you react. " After injecting the serum, the beast started to roar in agony. The beast started to quiet down. The beast open its eyes, its eyes started to turn black. The skin became darker and it's aura became more fierce and violent. Seeing the change the old man roared in excitement "It's a sucess, ha, ha".
