Chapter 5 Thein Duncan

Tall as the building it gave an aura of grand and Majestic , surrounded by soldiers . At the top , inside in one of the rooms there were two men playing chess. One who looked old but had a powerful aura , while the other had a crown with jewels embedded on it . Suddenly the door opened and a guard came. He bowed down to the two people and said " Your majesty". One of the people with a crown was none other than The Emperor of the Arcane Empire . " Get up Yes , what is it " asked The Emperor . " Your majesty , Dean Caldor said it is important ." answered the guard. " Bring it in. " said The Emperor . The guard went out and brought a big crystal. The crystal was black in colour and was round. It was a messaging crystal used by the Emperor.

Keeping the messaging crystal in front of the Emperor the Guard left the room. " What is Master Caldor . " asked the Emperor . " Your Majesty , something happened to the youngest son of Aron " . " What happened now..? " questioned the Emperor . Caldor started repeating the facts about Cain. " So someone inserted demonic energy inside the boy ." said the old man. " Yes , Imperial tutor. " The old man with the Emperor was the Imperial tutor Roland . " And there is an unknown organization that we don't know of ." said Caldor. " Ok , You have my support to do what you think is right . " said The Emperor . " Thank you ." replied Caldor and then the connection got cut off.

Getting off his seat The Emperor went towards the window and said " It's going to be a hassle to deal with this situation. " . " Yes your Majesty. " Said Roland. " Anyway , let him deal with the situation. How are they doing? "

asked the Emperor. " Everyone is learning well . The first Princess has already crossed the first hurdle by becoming the fifth Circle Mage." said Roland. " It would be good if she was a boy. By the way what do you think about the prophecy. " asked The Emperor. " It hasn't been verified , but there is no reply from the temple. " said Roland.

At the Imperial Academy , after speaking to the Emperor . Taking a deep sigh , Caldor thought 'Should I resign.. ' . As he was deep in thought a small crystal started to blink. " Dean it is Thein he has arrived . " said a person with a rough voice . " Okay Ryan guide him to the infirmary." said Caldor. At the Gate of the Academy stood a Male whose age was around 21 , Silver hair , light blue eyes black suit and a Sword to the waist . He was none other than Thein Duncan.

Seeing Thein Ryan guided him inside the Academy. The Academy was divided into many sectors . For safety of the students there were three gates. Anyone who wants to get to the inner section needs to get through the third gate. The Second gate gets you to the outer area where the children of the nobles lived . The first gate where the children of the commoners lived . The Imperial Academy was sponsored by many Aristocrat houses. The Imperial house being the main sponsor.The Imperial house makes sure that any talented commoner was taken by the house .

As he got in the carriage , he asked " Professor Ryan , do you know why the Dean called me here." " The Dean will inform you himself. " said Ryan. Hearing that even Professor Ryan can't say , he didn't indulge further. The carriage was pulled by one of the most powerful land beasts . The beast was known Black thundered horse . The black thundered horse was known for its robust look and its frightening speed . There were only a few in the continent and it shows how valuable the guest was , so where the carriage passed it created commotion. The carriage stopped in front of the Main building, where most of the theoretical classes and where the office of the Dean reside.

Seeing the carriage , every student rushed to see who was the guest. Opening the door , Professor Ryan came out and the white haired male came out . Seeing the white haired male , everyone was stunned he looked just like celestial taking a human form. Thein was used to this scene. He entered the building. Someone from the crowd shouted " He is Thein Duncan ." As he shouted it broke the silence . It's been years since he visited the academy. Known for his sword and first to awaken aura at an early age . Seeing the crowd the guards started dispersing the crowd .

As he entered the hall , he noticed that he was not going to the dean office. Still Thein didn't say anything. He followed Ryan. He entered the infirmary with Ryan . They saw the Dean and bowed down to him . " Thein follow me. " with that he led him inside the Infirmary. " How is your preparation going ? " asked Dean. " It's going well." said Thein. As they moved forward Thein saw his brother sleeping on a bed. Seeing Cain , he walked towards him. He inspected him , his breathing was stable and there were no injuries. He turned towards the dean and questioned him " What is the meaning of this.? " . The Dean recalled all the incidents and the information he obtained. Taking a deep breath he asked " Is there no way to treat him ? ". " The Academy doesn't have any solution . The holy temple has ways. But due to your family conflicts ,i didn't contact them. " Hearing the Dean, Thein thought for sometime and then he said " I am taking my brother with me." " Do as you wish . i will be taking my leave .? " with that he left the infirmary. Seeing the dean leave , tears started to fall down.

In a dark room , a crystal was glowing. A deep voice came from the crystal " How is the progress about the vessel ? " . " Lord, it failed , Cain Duncan body can't handle the great being . I failed you my lord ." said an old man. " Doctor Q , it is not your fault . " said the Deep voice. " We will soon find the vessel that your lordship wants. " said Doctor Q.

" Continue on your research , contact me if you need anything. " said the Deep voice.

" Yes , my lord." said Doctor Q. The connection got cut out .
