    "tell me one reason why i can't be your boyfriend ??" Mark questioned crossing his arm
   "because ..." she took a step close and cupped his face "you don't know the difference between crush, love at first sight, true love, obsession .."  she released his face and took a step back.
   "What has to do with my question !!?" Mark yelled
   "Exactly this is what i fell" and like that she left all three boys standing their ground looking at each other.

That girl: highschool days

They both were enjoying the food and drinks. Everything seems back to normal. But not yet!?


    Josh hurriedly covered his mouth while Elenore bursted in to a laughter causing Josh to smile wryly.


   There was a silence after that. None of them dare to speak even they want though the silence was peaceful.


   "What were you doing in the past year Elly?" Josh hesitantly asked while wiping his mouth and hand.


   Elenore was caught off guard by the question. She was abt to open the water bottle but stopped in the midway. She looked in to his eyes for a while. She adverted her gaze and gulped the water in one go.


    Josh was shocked by her reaction so he was abt to say ' don't tell me if u don't want' but Elly 


   "You know busy in mental hospital, home schooling, self defense training and now here i am" she nonchalantly answered him leaving him with awe.


  He scratched his head and took a glimpse from his side. Then there was a pin drop silence but this time its uncomfortable. It was the suffocating one.


  It was a video call from Mark Josh's friend. He was useful for the first time. Josh picked it up....


   "Yo Josh, how you doing bro?" Mark asked enthusiastically 


   "Good, what about you bro?" He was making sure not to disturb Elenore who seems in deep thought.


  Little did he know she was listening to their talk.


    "Umm...Josh you know that we will start school and what about we go cinema tomorrow you know i have a habit of it but i don't feel like you guys wanna go..."


       Mark was unable to finish his word when Elenore snatched the phone and started speaking with the sweetest smile and calm voice


     "Hey there am Elenore, Josh's best friend. And you must be the famous Mark. I would like to tag along with you guys if you like i mean its been a long time since i went to cinema so send the time to Josh and we will be there"


    There was no response from Mark he was literary  on cloud nine mesmerized by her beauty. He came back to his senses and screamed 


   "Josh!" He was chanting 'please be single please!'


     Elenore passed the phone "what is it Mark you don't want...."


     "Dummy!! i want her to be there i will call you tomorrow and i will tell Eric. She is the Elenore you were talking about right like THE ELENORE?" He cut Josh's word and now he is asking.


      Beep ....beep.... the call was disconnected.


    "Well good luck Elly" Josh patted her shoulder giving her a teasing smile.


    "What is the good luck for?" She asked crossing her arms defensively with one eyebrow up.


     "You will see" was the answer she got.


    Ignoring it she asked about his friends.


   "Well, you know i have known Eric from middle school via phone and not in real life before the year you left. And Mark well we meet him as a transfer student and he was like a leach following us every where in the end we become good, no best friends in the past two years." 


    He took a deep breath and continued "it all happened when you were gone"
