Shuule had fallen asleep snuggled up on Set's chest, even though he was so chilled. It was just a fitful sleep unfortunately. Set leaned himself up against the wall with his arm behind his head, listening to her breathing, feeling her heart beat softly within his because of the spousal mark. He never slept, instead wondering about all the ways his spousal connection could possibly be different than Ukko's since his was on her heart. 


He had never been told that it would make that much of a difference, and he couldn't find anything in the Legacies. He could just ask Ukko next week when he was able to shift back to his human and speak; compare notes over what effected them and what didn't. But that wasn't the way of males... which is probably why nobody knew for sure if there was really a difference besides hierarchy within the family units.
