Shuule was trying hard not to feel sorry about herself like a bratty child. She was a mother now, an adult, with two spouses herself. She detested this part of her personality; she was well aware that she was prone to brood in self pity, so much so that she could rival a snake.
The four of them - Shuule, Ukko, One, and Aries, sat around the fire that evening as Ukko cooked a stew of potatoes and venison, Shuule ripping off tiny pieces of raw meat and feeding them to One who screeched as soon as she stopped.
"Does he ever get full?" She asked in astonishment.
