****I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in writing. For those who read my other book, "Doe Eyed," You'll know that I gave an update on my writing. I had a work trip that I did have THIS novel updating through, but unfortunately, once I came home things went downhill. I caught Covid on my business trip, and then very unexpectedly had to put my sweet, perfect dog to sleep, who was my constant companion, always by my side as I was painting or writing my novels. It took me much longer to find any spark to keep writing than I expected, but you deserve chapters and content that isn't uninspired. Thank you to everyone who's kept The Violet Fox in their libraries, we are back!*** 


The next day was no better, except for the relief that the sun came back out and the winds died down as the snow stopped falling. It took a very very small bite out of the bitter cold.
