Shuule knew that Ukko would be hot on her heels, but she didn't care. In fact, the vixen welcomed it; she was well aware that the last time she was in this gully, she was being eaten by a Rootless beast and had to be saved. Something about this place had been attracting rogue males, at least in the past, but she also couldn't just sit like a lump in a frozen tree.
She could say it was because she needed to get Anna moving, but she wasn't fooling anyone; she really couldn't wait while knowing the fate of Harvey was just steps away.
Shuule had to know. Now.
It was easy to find her way, only needing a moment to get to the now frozen stream and follow it upwards. Within a few more seconds, a dark shadow passed over her; the fox didn't even bother looking up. It was Ukko, using the opening in the tree line that the stream gave him to fly overhead.
