"I can't believe you man, you were trying to kill your mother just a moment earlier Finn,"
"Bro you know that I'd hurt my mother,"
"Well you just tried to." Jack snapped
"It wasn't me...nor was it my fault!" Finn replied defensively and scoffed taking off his gaze from Jack's.
"Do you really realize that whether or not you use the whole day to explain this HORRID thing to me; I wouldn't understand. I wouldn't understand who is who, what was who and who's chasing who!" Jack stated giving a confused and uninterested look. These words that Finn had just said to him only weakened him but it wasn't. Yes, he wouldn't understand but there should be a better context for that. Finn sighed out as he stepped down from his bed walking to his reading table, he pulled out the seat and dropped on it, he turned to the computer and opened it.
"Bro, did you hear what I said? Plus this was the same computer you were freaking from and now..." Jack was still speaking as Finn interrupted
"So now what? You wouldn't understand so fuck off!!!" Finn instructed raising his voice
"No you should fuck off! Are you gonna keep talking to me like some kid or use the proper words for that? I've been in HERE with you and stuck in here with YOU Finn, ain't that something?" Jack asked with an askant stare and a pissed tone.
"Okay, its now a do-me-do-you thing?" Finn asked also getting more pissed. "Are you trying to do me a favor? Is this what this is all about? You really shouldn't be here if you ain't staying as a friend, I would always turn up.for you if shit goes south and you know that," Finn blurted heartily
"There we go!" Jack grew tired suddenly "I woke fuckin show up if you got shit going south too! Stop talking like I'm here for clout, if it wasn't friendship then why would I BE here? You're just an inconsiderate piece of work who's failing to recognize real friends," Jack blurted calmly taking his backpack and hanging a strap on the shoulder and his jacket on the other hand walking to the door. He stopped holding the door handle turning to Finn who seemed speechless and somewhat remorseful
"Your Mom needs you, you can't always keep pushing her. She's only human, we are only humans!" Jack reminded
"So am I!" Finn snapped. He couldn't help but think that Jack thought otherwise about him.
"Yeah whatever!" Jack snapped opening the door as Finn quickly interrupted
"I'll see you tomorrow,"
"Great, HUMAN!" Jack teased seriously walking out finally. Finn only wanted to make sure that they had things cleared out, and that they weren't any no talking terms thing.
Minutes later,
Finn stormed out of the room. He thought about Jack's suggestion about looking after his Mom. He was sure of what he saw earlier, his mother tried to hurt him and yet he was finding it hard to believe that it was actually not normal. Carmen could never hurt a child neither her child. He knocked on her door softly calling out for her but there wasn't a response so he twisted the handle to open a small fraction, he sighted making a phone call.
He pushed the door walking in maintaining a steady pace. She turned around as soon as she noticed someone was inside, she concluded the call and turned fully to him.
"I could return if you are actually busy," Finn politely stated
"No No No its fine, I'll just talk to him later!"
Him? Finn questioned deep inside and decided not to talk about it since it was his M.O at the moment. She beckoned at him to sit on her bed while she maintained the dresser chair. He sat staring at her, he was finding it hard to put the words together.
"What is it you wanna talk about?" She asked
"I just...I just wanted to apologize for what happened earlier...everything. I said some really awful things to you,"
"You were telling me how you felt,"
"I still apologize for the inappropriate words. And for the knife thing?" He sucked in a deep breath and continued. "I really don't have any explanation to that 'cause I don't know what happened. It just happened, you were...kinda...threatening me and it appears that I was threatening to kill you 'cause I was the one with the knife?! I..." He stopped.
"Yeah. That got me confused but I know you didn't mean it and I would never hurt you too Finn. You are my child, my only child." She said. At first she seemed like a cop questioning an inmate but now it felt a little better since he could feel his mother's Warmth behind her gaze, her touch and soft assuring words.
"Mom I just wish I could figure it out, I really wish I could explain it to you...its a choke on the neck. I'm as confused as anyone else Mom." He stated very calmly as she pulled him in for a hug, he needed it and so did she.
"I really really want to help, i want one where I can be of help. It worries me that you've been seeing a whole lot of scary things, its messing with your mind, your school, with you?!" She looked up then him again.v" i haven't been a good mother but I'll try to fix it. I'll work on it. How about we both try hard to be okay...and try to find a solution?! Hmm?"
"Sounds easy. I wish that it was easy,"
"We'll try Finn, I can't afford to lose you." She added and he nodded in content topping the moment with a very faint smile. They made up and even laughed about his childhood then she popped another question.
"The police department called me again Finn,"
"This is the third time they are calling, why?" Finn was curious
"They want me back to the force."
"Yes!" He groaned excitedly while she smiled too "Did you say yes?"
"I wanted to talk to you first, I didn't how you would feel. You know!"
"Its the best for you and for me too!" He snapped holding her hands into his, she seemed very comfortable about it since her son was. "And him?"
"Him?"
"Yes him! Y'all were talking when I came in." She rolled her eyes shyly and looked at Finn's curious face.
"Right! You heard that."
"I heard nothing Mom, maybe you wanna tell me?" He said slowly retracting his hands from hers.
"He's coming for dinner. He wants to meet you Finn, I told him that ingot about adorable and smart big guy and he seemed curious to meet you!" She explained
"Anything for you Mom, okay then!"
He said. He wasn't too excited about his mother seeing another man but he thought of being selfless for a few moments or even a day. He didn't want his mother's attention to be divided .
