Cohen's lips crashed into mine.
His hands grabbed my hips and he hoisted me onto his lap without ever breaking our kiss. His
grip on my hipbones was strong and forceful and his lips matched.
I pressed my palms against his chest and curled my fingers into him. He was rock hard all over,
and I loved the feel of his muscles under my hands.
Our lips moved against each others at a frantic pace.

I woke the next morning naked and alone. I rolled onto my back and stared up at the ceiling, trying to figure out how I felt. 


I definitely hadn't been planning on sleeping with Cohen, but now that I had, I couldn’t say that I regretted it. It'd been the best sex of my life by far. 


Were we a thing now? Were we going to pretend it never happened? Would we sleep together again tonight? 


I didn't have the answers to any of that. A simple conversation with Cohen would clear things up, but I wasn't about to start that awkwardness. No, I'd just wing it and see what happened. 


With that in mind, I climbed out of bed and hopped into the shower to get ready for the day. 


When I entered the banquet room for breakfast, it was to see Kate arguing with another woman. I started heading their way with a lead stomach, but before I reached them, the vampire stormed off. 


"What was that about?" I asked Kate when I reached her.
