As Aleks diseappeard, Duxor emerged from behind a group of rainfolks, moving with uncharacteristic urgency.
"I heard the news." He said. His face remained impassive, but Arthur caught the subtle flickers of hesitation beneath it. Instead of addressing it, Arthur gestured him forward.
"I see Float Admiral Bloodworth kept his word." He said. "Glad to see you here."
The omnimancer dipped his head in acknowledgment, his words carrying a rare weight of sincerity. "I've spent a few hours here with the people. There's much to learn, even from Master Aleks." He added.
Arthur nearly rolled his eyes. "Calling him a master is a disservice to his talent and creativity." He replied. "Worry not, he has much to learn from you as well. In fact, I brought you something. We've been working on it this morning."
