Burning Her

"I only want to read the book since it is interesting. I will have my breakfast later. You do not need to wait for me, your majesty." though his voice was full of guilt as he tore his eyes away. He did not relent to her.

She kept staring at him with a piercing gaze as if she was trying to know what the matter was but he looked away and hid his face in the book and she closed her eyes.

"Very well, I think my presence is making you burdensome. I will better leave.'' She stood up but took very slow steps towards the door as if she was still waiting to be stopped but he did not take any initiative to call her again.

Her face filled with disappointment when she walked out of the room. It looked darker than the bottom of the pot.

Both of them were throwing a tantrum at her. So much time has passed, but there was no progress at all.

A happy family where she could spend time with her kids freely, was that just in her dreams?
