After clearing with the receptionist, Mira received her key card and rolled her suit case ahead of her.
She opened the door and entered the room.
Being so tired she threw her suit case down and opened it.
She then got her pyjamas out and threw them on the bed.
She then entered the bathroom and took a warm bath.
She entered bed and slept off after checking the time which was ten forty-five and switching off the lights.
It was only in the morning that she got to unpack and arrange her things.
She also got to look around and appreciate the quality of everything in her room.
After her lunch Mira decided to look around and shop for a few things she needed but the moment she stepped out of the hotel.
All eyes were glued on her.
However like the time at the airport, she held her head high and walked ahead.
Today she had a ponytail.
She wore a yellow t-shirt and very short jeans with sneakers.
It was so hot that she felt like undressing.
She walked into one store.
The store was not a big one but had almost everything.
As she walked through the rows of clothes many eyes followed her. She understood that maybe they stared alot because she was a black.
By the way so far she hadn't seen any blacks in this City C.
Mira walked to the section of women's daily necessities.
She wanted to buy sanitary pads because she knew she was almost going into her days.
She wanted her period to come when she is prepared.
"Hello" a pretty woman said in English before she touched a packet of pads.
"Hello." Mira replied in Chinese.
" Eh?"
" You can speak Chinese?" she asked surprised.
"Hmm." Mira replied.
"I am Bei Er Duo." she said with her hand stretched out.
Mira looked at the hand and shook it.
" Mira.. Mira Joanna." she repeated. "Ah this one is better." She said pointing to a pink packet.
"Oh thanks." Mira said with a smile.
"Are you new here?" she asked.
"Yes." Mira answered
" Eh with your good Chinese." The girl said.
" Hmm." Mira said and looked at the girl.
She looked confused but didn't think much about it.
Wherever Mira went she followed with her shopping bags and kept asking this and that.
At first Mira was afraid of talking alot but the girl was talkative and she couldn't ignore her.
"Are you an actress?" She asked.
"Ehh Do I look like one." Mira said posing like a model. She was surprised.
"Hmm you are so pretty." the girl said.
Haha .
" No I am not." Mira said.
"A model?"
The girl continued to probe.
"No no not at all." Mira laughed and people turned and looked at them.
" I am so short." "How can I be a model?" Mira said.
This girl was so funny.
The two talked until the they reached the counter and paid for their stuff.
As they were going out of the store, she stopped her.
