The space on the base of Mount Natagumo rent and shifted, 330 Slayers appeared out of thin air. They landed safely on the ground as all of them were confused on what had happened..

"Amazing! We are here already!" Rengoku shouted first as he held his sword in front of him like a cane.

"What happened?"

"I dunno"

The Slayers murmured and whispered to each other in confusion and puzzlement on how they got here instantaneously..

"Quiet!" The voice of Kagaya Ubayashiki reverberated throughout the grassy plains on the base of Mount Natagumo.

The Slayers quickly stood in attention and the chattering died out. The Hashiras stood in front of the lined Slayers as their leaders..

"We must hastily set camp and wait until night fall has come!" Kagaya ordered the Slayers. The Slayers then quickly dispersed to groups towards the carriages that Ren also transported with them.

Lines quickly formed in front of the carriages with the supplies, one by one, supplies began to be distributed and akunoyas also began to be set up. Akunoyas are ancient Japanese tents that were used in many military expeditions throughout it's history.

Ren and Lucien sat alongside Kagaya, his wife, and the Hashiras inside the commander's tent...

"I once again thank you for your upcoming help in this expedition.." Kagaya bowed slightly as he thanked Ren.

"No need to worry, I voluntarily went here and was assigned the mission" Ren replied right after..

Kagaya nodded and got out straightened his back again with the support of his wife.

"Truly chivalrous of you! Ren-sama!" Rengoku energetically chimed in..

"That's very flashy of you!" Tengen also chimed in as he held up his thumb, saying his iconic catchphrase.

When they heard that Ren voluntarily joined and applied for the mission, they were impressed, for someone to voluntarily fight against demons for humanity..

"You overpraise me" Ren simply said as he took a sip of his tea.

"It's true! That's very brave!" Mitsuri blushed as she backed up the statements of the earlier two.

"Humph! I don't care!" Sanemi humphed as he turned to the side.

"Sanemi-kun!" Mitsuri pouted as she scolded her fellow hot-headed Hashira.

"It's okay"

Ren put his teacup down on the cup holder,, he didn't mind Sanemi being crass, he already taught him a lesson back then..

"Loud.." Giyuu just said from the corner of the tent, minding his own business.

"Hm! Very admirable" Shinobu also said her own opinions towards the matter as she covered her mouth and her eyes turning into crescents..

"Uhuhu! How benevolent!" Gyomei on the other hand, started crying heavily again. "To lay these pitiful souls to rest!" Gyomei started feeling empathy..

Ren only smiled from their complements as he started looking forward to the attack to the Spider demons...

—Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!

The Slayer rushed from their akunoyas and camps as their hastily formed into their ranks, night has befallen the land and is shining brightly, with it being a full moon tonight..

The marching of the Slayers thumped against the earth like a dragon's roar..

Soon every single Demon Slayer were there, gathered near the entrance of the forest leading to the mountain. With bated breath, Ren started speaking..

"Tonight, our first step is to get rid of the demons in this mountain that's been terrorizing nearby villages! And have no fear for I am here with you!" Ren released his 12 Fallen Angel wings and also activated his Light magic to create a halo above his head and a ring behind his back to create a shocking visual effect.

The Slayers were mesmerized and were in awe as they quickly started praying to their respective deities..

"To battle!" Ren raised his deep violet blade above his head and pointed to the mountain behind him.

""Raaaaah!!"" The Slayers matched his ferocity and went up the mountain, brandishing their Nichirin swords.

The very first spider demon they encountered was the Son, a spider demon that can turn people into a hybrid of humans and spider demons that completely bend to his will.

"Hihihihi! New members of the family!" The head with spider legs creepily shouted from the trees as his spider demon puppets began swarming from the trees around them.

"Demon!" One of the Slayer in this group shouted as he saw the heads of many humans attached to the trees with spider legs.

—Bam! Shing! Splat!

The spider demon puppets began pouncing on them as the group fought back, slashing through the heads or the spider legs..

"Gyaaaah!" One of the Slayers got their head bitten off by 3 of the spider demon puppets, his skin began to bubble and turn purple.

In just a few seconds, to the former demon slayer teammates' horror, the head began to grow spider legs and joined the swarm attacking them.

"Monsters!" Another one shouted as he also went down.

"Hihihihi! More family members!" The Son shouted maniacally as more of the Demon Slayer members were turned into spider demon puppets.

"That's enough!" Rengoku shouted as he appeared in time to save the remaining Slayers from being overwhelmed..

"Haaa!" Rengoku shouted as he unsheathed his sword with patterns like flames on the blade and colored like flames.

With a swift blitz attack, Rengoku managed to jump up of the tree and send out a flurry of slashes.

"Kihihihi!" The Son only shouted as he made the spider demon puppets block Rengoku's attacks.

The spider demon puppets dissipated into ashes, Rengoku continued his chase while cutting a way out for the Slayers..

"Kyojuro-sama!" One of the female members shouted, the attention being focused on Rengoku alone.

"You aren't getting away!" Rengoku jumped down the tree which was followed by a quick slash to the Son spider demon.
