That fateful night

That night in her closet, April hung herself as part of a ritual to become more than death and life combined. She attained what her parents worked so hard to achieve throughout their lifetimes. Immortality. She became something else, something more entirely.

As April knew her potential if she were to ever self-sacrifice. She hesitated but completed the In aeternum vive spell that night in her bedroom all alone. She had made a pact at the Mihells funeral that she would always have Mike's back and vice versa. She was determined to come through with her promise.

She was not a vampire, not a ghost, not a living dead, not a chimera, not any of these ephemeral creatures that the living could easily count out. She was a Goddess. A "G". The Goddess of vengeance and time. A Goddess was indestructible. April was the Goddess that possessed powers no one even knew existed. Her parents inheritance made her a millionaire but she was self-made into a Goddess through her unwillingness to accept to be victimized once more. She had to take a stand. A stand that bounds her to earth and the other realms throughout times.

A painstaking eternal task for a eighteen year old to undertake. April's middle name was dutiful and took her powers very seriously. To avenge the innocent is her motto. Even though, she could appear to anyone any day of the week, whenever she pleased. She chose to show herself to only the few bad apples who claim mayhem to be their badge of honor on April's day wherever in the world.

Albeit she was keen to rename April Fool's Day as April's Rebirth Day, but her only solemn request to the Universe was to go back to that faithful day. To take matters into her own hands sooner rather than later, in order to honor her oath.

"Car c'est jamais trop tard pour bien faire."

April's Poems

~~~~~~~
In the Dark
In the dark, I appear.
I promise them death.
They promise me, fear.
I promise you, my life.
They promise you death.
In the dead of night, they strike.
But they will fear.
At the last drop of your tear.
I swear this to you.
I will fight for you.
I make you that wish.
It is my last wish.
Every April Fool's Night.
Alive for the night.
For love is stronger than death.
And true love lasts longer than wealth.
The Goddess
April is a Goddess
A Goddess more or less.
Love her, hate her
She is a killer.
Love her, hate her
She is a lover.
Powerful beyond measure
Beautiful beyond compare
The champion you never thought you'd need
Through the darkness of times, bad good seed.
She never sleeps on April First.
Birthday, death day, rebirth, fools first
What a day, what a woman.
What a gift, what a burden.
Bring her your sorrows
Bring her your hurts
Call out her name thrice
when you feel the ice.
Revenge, revenge, revenge
Sweet juicy revenge,
shall be yours at last.
April kills fools. She kills fools every April Fool's Day!
A name, a faux holiday, a Goddess is born.
