Chapter 49 Determination

"Only two fights remain before advancing to the final battle. Can goku truly defeat Nam and fight in the finals or will Nam be too powerful to be defeated?"

"One, two, three and four." goku started to stretch his body to prepare for the match.

Nam however has only one thing on his mind.

Defeat the boy in front of him and make it to the finals.

"Mother. Little brother and others I will come back with enough water for us to survive " Nam said to himself motivating himself before the match.

"Goku. You better win this one." oolong said.

"If you win I will take you out for dinner " bulma cheered.

"I am sure you probably don't want that. That boy eats like a demon" the announcer said while putting his mic for a second.

"And now without further ado. Let the semi-final begins"

Both the fighters face off.

Goku thought to himself.

I am going to use the technique that Jackie Chun used against White.

He then created afterimages and surrounded Nam.

Nam closed his eyes as he used his other senses to detect goku.

Goku went in for a kick but Nam was able to dodge it.

Nam then counterattack with a kick but he also missed as goku was able to dodge it.

"Goku is insane. He just mimicked Jackie Chun's move like it was nothing " Yamcha said.

"And Nam was able to dodge it." Master Roshi who returned to the crowd after his defeat complimented Nam.

"By the way where were you. " bulma asked.

"I was taking a dump" he answered.

"Eww"

"Atatatata" Nam throws rapid kicks toward goku and goku retaliated by countering with punches.

"Haa" Nam was able to land a clean blow on goku. However, He was able to get a low sweep as he recovers.

"Haa" goku then pushed Nam towards the wall with insane power. Nam used the wall as a boost to give a swift chop to Goku's neck.

"Oww" goku falls. Nam used this as a chance to push him out of bounds but he slipped as goku grabbed his leg using his tail.

"Ah. I have no choice I have to use that technique " Nam said as he jumped very high in the sky.

"I will come too," goku said as he followed Nam by taking a huge leap into the air.

"Alright now time for my heavenly X strike, " Nam said as he crossed his two arms to create an x as he fell to the ground.

"Eh," he was surprised when he saw goku coming after him.

"Tah." he throws a punch as he falls along with the boy but goku took a fast dive to reach the ground.

"I have to get there fast," Nam said as he returned to his heavenly x strike posture to reach the ground even faster.

But he was too late. Before he reaches the ground goku was already ready to finish the fight once in for all with a swift kick. Which sent him flying outside the ring.

"Ring ... Ring out!!! Son goku will be advancing to the finals."

Nam was eliminated from the tournament.

Only two contestants remain and one fight is left. The moon is going to went up soon. And the final fight is going to take place on the very ground in a few moments.

The tournament has finally reached its climax.
