Half Victory

Henry was waiting for Ryan and Michael outside.

It was half past 06. He looked at his watch and sighed. "C'mon Boys". He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel.

"yoo-hoo".

Henry heard someone yelling. He looked in the rarefaction and smiled. "You got it". He said in a low voice.

Michael and Ryan came running back to the car. They were very happy.

Michael opened the car's door and sat in on the passenger seat.

"We did it". He told Henry.

"It was an adventure and we enjoyed as well". Ryan sat behind.

"Great! I thought I'll finally get old waiting for you people here". Henry chuckled.

"Haha". Michael laughed at his compliment.

"It took time for us to change into our clothes again". Ryan replied.

"Hmm. Well, it's okay". Henry smiled. "Where's the stone?".

"With me". Michael said slowly.

"Come on let's go home". Ryan patted on Henry's shoulder.

"Here we go!". Henry turned the keys.

When they arrived home, they felt like if there was a party going on inside.

"What's all this noise?". Michael asked.

"Did your brother had a party?". Henry looked at Ryan.

"What? No! Asher hates parties". Ryan replied.

"This laughter, what is all of this for then?". Henry asked.

"I have no idea. Let's go in and see what's going on". Ryan stepped towards the house.

As they opened the door, they were surprised to see what was going on. There wasn't a party.

William, Jaxon and Josiah were all too much drunk that they didn't even knew what was going on around them. They laughed and talked and kept on clicking the glasses of beer together.

"What_ the hell_ IS GOING ON?". Henry was surprised.

"OMG". Michael put his hands on his cheeks and squeezed them.

"No way". Ryan said.

"Goodness". Henry smelt through his nostrils. "There's a lot of beer around".

"Wait. Where's Rosie?And Asher?". Michael searched .

"I'm here". Rosie yelled from a corner. She stood helpless looking at Michael. Asher was smiling standing beside Rosie.

"What happened here?". Henry made his way to Rosie .

"They got drunk". Rosie replied. "We too had one shot but these guys!_ they're not stopping!".

"We have to stop them". Ryan said with a worried face.

"This is what we've been doing for 02 hours". Asher frowned.

"You know what? Since the day Ethan got drunk and killed Father's wife, I, Jax and Josiah promised ourselves to never drink but look at my pals today! I feel like if they were missing alcohol". Henry spoke.

"William! You know what? Your hairs smell fantastic". Jaxon said to William as he smelt William's hairs from a side.

"What?". Rosie was surprised. "Bro's hairs smell disgusting! Even Alexa knows it".

"Don't forget they're drunk". Ryan smiled.

"Are we gonna spectate them?". Michael asked.

"We should stop them". Henry said.

Suddenly, Josiah looked at them and smiled. "Hey! You're here".

"Yeah! But you're not". Henry nodded.

"No! We ARE". Josiah moved at him. "We were just enjoying the victory".

"HALF VICTORY". Jaxon placed the beer glass on the table. "Where's the stone?". He still seemed to be drunk, dozing here and there.

"We got it". Henry replied.

"Yai-Yeah". Josiah bursted into happiness. "Love you guys!!". He drank another shot.

"Can you just stop drinking now?". Henry was annoyed.

"Sure". Jaxon nodded. "I'll go wash my face". He said and headed towards the bathroom.

"Wait for me Jax". Josiah went after him as well.

Ryan, Michael, Asher, Rosie and Henry then moved their attention towards William. He was lying on the couch with his eyes closed.

"Did he fell asleep?". Michael asked.

"I think so". Ryan shrugged.

"Just leave him there. Let him sober up". Henry said and went to Josiah and Jaxon.

In the night, when the Vampires and William caught their senses back,they decided to talk about the next "adventure" tomorrow morning.

Michael was with Ryan, learning Beatboxing, William, Jaxon, Josiah and Henry played poker, while Asher and Rosie went out, escaping everyone's sight.

They walked till the market. Asher observed the dark sky and the full moon. "I always love the sight of full moon". He said with a continuous smile on his face.

"Me too". Rosie looked at him with a pout. "It's bright and_ and, it's beautiful".

"Yeah". Asher stopped and turned to face Rosie. He grabbed her both hands in his' and looked into her eyes. "But I know something more brighter and beautiful then the moon".

"And what is it?". Rosie smiled. Her dimples were more visible then ever.

"You". Asher replied.

"Jesus". Rosie chuckled.

"I'm not lying!". Asher exclaimed. "You're magnificent".

"Stop it! I'm craving for ice cream right now". Rosie rubbed her hands on her belly. She was blushing.

"Let's go. Wait! Your dimples.. yes! your dimples.. I love them". Asher added.

"Thank you". Rosie said and stood up on her toes to reach his face, placing a gentle kiss on his lips.

Asher closed his eyes and took a long breath. "God!". He grabbed her hand and started walking again.

After a long while, when the game was over, the Vampires stood up and asked for leave.

"We'll see you tomorrow William. We have to deal with that stalker right now". Jaxon pulled his sleeves down.

"Fine". William nodded. "We'll wait for you guys".

"Sure". Jaxon smiled.

"Alright let's go". Henry said.

"Goodnight William". Josiah waved a hand as he went to the door.

"Goodnight". William nodded.

Ryan and Michael were upstairs. After teaching Michael the ESSENTIALS of beatboxing, they decided to watch a movie.

"Popcorns...". Ryan said as the movie started. "Pause it. I'll bring the popcorns". He rose up from the bed and headed downstairs.

William was wandering in the lounge.

"You up?" Ryan asked as he approached the last stair.

"Uh Yeah". William replied. "I was unable to sleep. What are you up to? Where's Michael?".

"We're watching a movie. I came downstairs to get the popcorns". Ryan said.

"Oh alright". William nodded.

"You may join us until Asher and Rosie bring ice cream". Ryan offered.

"Yeah! Sure". William smiled.

"Hmm". Ryan nodded. "I'll bring the popcorns. They're in the cabinet". He headed towards the kitchen.

"You know what? I'm feeling quite satisfied Ryan". William talked to Ryan as they climbed the stairs together.

"Satisfied? with what?". Ryan enquired.

"After getting the Necklace and the Stone back, Jaxon, Henry and Josiah became very happy. When I saw them bursting with happiness, I felt satisfied. We became a reason for Ethan's freedom". William replied.

"You've got a very good heart bro". Ryan was surprised by William's compliment. "It was a very good decision to help them by the way. If I was you, I would've done the same thing. You saw Ethan? Jesus! He was in so much pain. I mean, His condition was like, he can't be included in living ones. He's literally DEAD & LOST". Ryan said.

"You're right!". William sighed as they approached the room door. "This will be his FINAL RETURN TO FREEDOM".

Ryan smiled giving a nod.

"C'mon let's enjoy the movie". Ryan opened the door.

"We_ are_ CRAZY!!". Rosie exclaimed as she and Asher enjoyed the ice cream. A cold winter wind was blowing which was enough to freeze someone. "Eating ice cream in this cold weather!". She chuckled.

"Just enjoy Rosie. If you get sick, I'll take care of you myself". Asher replied.

"Thank you for this modesty". Rosie smiled.

Asher tucked in her lose strand of hair and pecked on her cheek. "This modesty, kindness, love and care is just for you". He said.

"Hmm!". Rosie nodded. "I'm special then".

"Yeah! Very special". Asher replied.

"Now let's go back home otherwise, Michael, William and Ryan will fall asleep". Rosie finished her ice cream.

"Sure". Asher threw the ice cream cups in the dustbin and sighed. "Let's go".
