Chapter 19.1

Kevin strode into the study, which was already in disarray. A rotund servant lay on the ground as if he had tripped, but for some reason, he remained in that position and did not get up. Several servants and guards stood around him, their faces frozen in panic.

Sinia was buried in Oswald's arms, crying and gasping for breath. She rubbed her eyes with her left hand, and her right hand was stiff at a strange angle. Oswald's face was grim. He carefully examined Sinia's right hand, then raised his head and shouted at the guards, "Are you stupid? Go to the hospital and call for help!"

The two guards hurried out without even bothering to salute Kevin.

"What's going on?" Kevin asked, sensing that the atmosphere was not right. A simple fall would not have caused such a reaction.

Oswald did not answer him immediately, but instead said to the other servants impatiently, "Are you just going to stand there? Don't leave him lying on the ground. Help me lift him."

The bewildered servants nodded in unison and began to lift the portly servant.

Kevin took a closer look and his expression changed. "How did he become like this?"

The rotund servant remained in the same position as he was lifted as if he had been frozen. The situation was very strange, as if they were not lifting a living person, but a stone sculpture.

But the stone sculpture could speak, and its voice was shaking violently. "Your Majesty, why can't I move? I can't feel my hands or feet..."

"We'll talk about it when the medical officer arrives," Oswald replied. He then pointed to his desk and said to the servants, "Put him on the table or a chair and see if we can fix him."

After giving his orders, he turned to Kevin and explained, "Sinia tripped and fell, and he tried to catch her. He fell harder than she did, but that's not the point. The point is, he couldn't get up after the fall, and neither could Sinya's hand that hit the ground."

Kevin took a closer look at Sinia's right hand. He had not paid attention to it from a distance, but when he looked closely, he saw that the skin color of her hand was very strange. From the elbow down, the skin was a lifeless grayish-yellow, with no trace of blood. The upper arm, on the other hand, was still its normal lotus root white.

Kevin gently squeezed Xinya's forearm. The skin felt like crunchy gravel, and it seemed that it would break completely if he squeezed harder.

Sinia shook her head with red eyes and sobbed, "But I'm afraid."

The three servants finally managed to get the portly servant to sit on a chair. One of them glanced at Oswald cautiously and said in a low voice, "Your Majesty, Your Majesty, you were hit by Her Royal Highness Sinia just now. How are your ears?"

Oswald said with a sour face, "The sound is a little fuzzy."

"You were hit too?" Kevin frowned. He had no qualms about Oswald, so when he heard this, he reached out and touched Oswald's ear, pressing and pressing to find the hardened area. He touched along the earlobe and pinna, never daring to use any force, just touching lightly as if he were pinching Sinia's arm.

After a while, Kevin took a step back and said, "It hasn't hardened, but it's a little hot. Perhaps it was hit a little lightly. You said that it is starting to affect your hearing?"

After he said this, he turned his eyes, only to find that Oswald's expression was a little strange. Without even looking at him, Oswald mocked him forcefully, "Did you go out without a brain? Who told you it was this ear?!"

"..." Kevin replied angrily, "I touched it for more than a minute before you realized that I touched the wrong ear?"

Oswald snorted coldly from his nose, with an arrogant expression. He had just put on a show of strength, but his red ear deflated again due to a leak.

Kevin thought it was a little funny to see him like that, but because the situation was inappropriate, he had to make his expression more serious and walked around to the other side of Oswald.

This time, there was no need to touch it with his hands, as the change in Oswald's ear was very obvious. Just like Sinia's arm, it was bloodless and grayish-yellow.
