CHAPTER 64

Sam took a deep breath. He looked at Lucia who was fast asleep on the bed. The woman hadn't slept all night just to wait for Brian's condition to get better. Finally, she fell asleep when suddenly Brian's fever subsided.

He reached for a blanket he had requested from the hospital for Lucia, then he slowly wrapped the woman's body so she wouldn't get cold. Watching him sleep soundly, there was a feeling of happiness, especially when he smiled in desperation. There was a strange feeling he couldn't understand, it was clear that right now he was feeling very happy about such a trivial thing.

"Master, you can sleep. I'll be on guard outside," Samona whispered.

  "Aren't you tired?"

"Don't worry about me, sir. Me and some of your men will be standing guard outside, worried that William might steal the opportunity to injure Mr Brian."
