Chapter 21

• Lyken •

She didn’t even flinch when I raised my voice at her. With a mocking smile still pasted on her face, she closed the distance between us.

“Don’t you think you’re being too judgmental, Lyken?” she asked casually, even reaching out to fix my collar. “As far as I know, neither you nor Kristoff is my boyfriend, so I’m not playing with anyone,” she stated before walking past me, heading to her bedroom.

I stopped her by the arm and make her face me. I know she was hurt by what I did. But when she looked at me, it was I who got scared.

This is the first time I see her looking at me like this. First time since we’ve ever met. She was glaring at me and it feels cold as ice.

“You’re disgusting!” I sneered.

Flicking her hair, she looked straight into my eyes, “Really? Then don’t touch me!”

I can see the bitterness in her smile and her eyes are blazing with anger. I let go of her slowly, lowering my gaze as I can’t stand the way she looks at me.
