My jaws almost fell when I saw Jada. She was sitting right in front of me, busy fiddling with the watermelon on the plate.
Not sure if it’s just me or she did become more gorgeous. She looked like a flower that finally bloomed. I suddenly regret taking Josefin with me, it felt awkward.
I thought the awkwardness was over after Jada smiled at us. But I suddenly want the ground to part and swallow me when her parents asked me about us.
I can only tell them that we’ll fix things though I’m not sure if she’d be willing to. I can feel cold sweats on my back as I respond to them.
I know Jada feels the same. That’s probably why she escaped after her father excused himself to answer a call.
I immediately followed her but she went straight to the restroom so I decided to wait for her outside. But then I heard her vomiting.
‘Is she pregnant? I hope not. I can’t accept that!’
