Jada stiffen when she heard her boyfriend say that. She wanted to cry but the closet was too suffocating, that even her tears won’t come out. When the room became silent, she peeked to see what Lyken is doing with the woman he brought home. Fortunately, they seem to be sleeping already. Jada slowly crept out of the closet and made a run for the door. She went out as fast as she could. Out of his condo. Out of his life.

She was a fool the first time she forgave him for cheating on her. Stupid when she forgave him the second time. Now Lyken strikes three and Jada decided to let go of him, for good. That way, he can do anything and everything he wants, without hurting anyone. Without hurting her.

She Was Tamed

“Good morning Mrs. Fontanilla!” Lyken greeted me as I answer the call. 


“Good morning my love!” I replied sweetly. 


It’s only been a week since he proposed and now, he’s out of town with Kobe to work on their projects. Whenever I look at my engagement ring, my heart swells. 


I can still remember what happened that day. Everything was crystal clear to me. After he proposed and received greetings from our friends and parents, we went out to the restaurant’s balcony. 


I thought we were just checking the sights he mentioned while we were eating, but then a chopper showed up. It rolled down a banner that says, ‘I love you, Mrs. Fontanilla’. 


After that, we did go out to go sightseeing with our friends and parents. Then we went back to the restaurant for dinner. 


When the event was over, Lyken took me to his condo instead of mine. There we shared a hot and sizzling night, and it was the best I’ve ever had with him, so far.
