Betrayed

She'd clearly remember the day, the day they'd spoken to each other about the so called"relationship" they'd shared. For goodness sake, they'd both cleared the pending misunderstandings and had come to a conclusion that what they've had or unnecessarily shared wasn't love. It was simply foolishness and child's play. It was merely an attraction and friendship which they'd both mistaken for something else. It was mainly an act of foolishness and nothing more so how did they end up in such unfavourable and heart wrenching circumstance.

No!

Not they! That statement was completely and utterly wrong because he didn't seem a tad bit upset about what they are facing now.

She! She was the victim! She has been his target and he's finally got her.

He had gained her trust and stabbed her in the back.

"Betrayal! It's betrayal. I've been betrayed." Alice thought painfully.

As much as she'd hate to admit it, she had to acknowledge the fact that the whole thing was her completely her fault. She knew from the very beginning and yet... she had let herself fall into his trap.

She should've known better than to trust the words of someone like him. She very well knew he wasn't someone to be trusted and yet she had put her complete and utter trust in him.

"Spread your legs." She'd heard his mom say.

It wasn't until then that Alice realized how tightly her legs were closed and intertwined with one another.

"How ridiculous! I've never seen such a woman in my entire life.Inspite of everything that just occurred, she should know better than rubbing salt in her open wounds. She really dosen't have a mother's heart and is basically adding fuel to the fire.

"She should be scolding her son for what he's done but instead she's pinning all the blame on me and accusing me of actually initiating everything.Such a despicable woman! I now get why he's always complained and prayed for a better mom. it's obvious that he's taken after his mother. The entire Burroughs family are actually full of scandals that much is clear.

Alice took a quick glance at her mom and instantly lowered her gaze.

The few seconds she'd looked into her mother's eyes, she had clearly seen pain and anguish reflected in them and it was heart wrenching. It hurt her so much to accept the fact that she had once again disappointed her mother. The thought of how hurt and disappointed her mom must be had encouraged the return of that sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach.

Her gaze subconsciously returned to the pitiful being kneeling on the floor and a wave of anger went through her. She glared at him with eyes burning like an inferno. Never in her life had she hated anyone the way she did him.

"I loathe you Nate! I really do." She muttered under her breath.

Nate's mom kept on and in about Alice's character and personality and the fact that she'd actually thought how good a person she was has been dwindled by the recent turn of events hadn't in the least bothered Alice.

Currently, a series of thoughts flashed through her mind and they were thoughts of everything inhumane which could possibly be done to take revenge on her offender. Her hear was so full of anger and pain that the thought of vengeance had completely clouded her mind and consumed her entirely.
