" Why is it still alive?"
Ilirielth asked Iliriendil who just shook his head.
" It told me that we're gonna know soon. "
They were currently following the female giant into a hidden path under the rift. To follow the one who tried to kill the just a few days ago was definitely not a wise choice but they didn't have any other choice at that moment, the ground was full of goblins and they couldn't hang in the middle of anywhere forever. The path seemed to lead them toward the abyss. Before they could react there was a strange magical symbol under their feet and in just a blink of an eye, three-figure disappeared. They were teleported into an extremely large area. Ahead of them was a giant half-broken stone door that could easily be 200 m in length. On that doors, there were a lot of seals. Although knowing next to nothing about sealing Ilirielth could tell those were extremely complicated. The walls and the ceilings of this whole area were covered by a flesh-like substance, everything was living and breathing, and it feel like they were in a stomach of a colossal monster. A squishing sound came under Ilirielth's feet as she stepped on something. She almost jumped when she looked under her feet. I was an eye, very big eyes ball. Just under her feet were the bodies of giant mutated creatures. They looked like they were in the progress of decaying.
" What the hell is this place?"
[O father I've returned.]
The female giant kneeled, Its hands suddenly slipped as it fell flat. its body began to decompose into a heap of meat and get absorbed into the earth. Ilirielth jumped when she saw that scene. Then came a big echo that made her eardrums hurt. Those echo seem like the laughing of someone or something behind the colossal doors.
" It said we need to go in."
" N-No Iliriendil, are you crazy' of course we're not going into that!"
" Then wait here, I'll go in alone."
Iliriendil get off Ilirielth's back and intended to walk toward the doors but Ilirielth held his back and refused to let him go. Iliriendil sighed, he place his hand on Ilirielth's head and give her a light pat.
" Don't worry. I'll be back."
It seemed to worked cause her grip on him to loosen. After he walked toward the entrance under the doors, footsteps were rushing toward him.
" … No… I'll come too, we'll go in together."
Iliriendil smiled and took Ilirielth's hand as they entered the entrance made of a slight crack on the giant door.
What behind the door couldn't be described with words. Ilirielth didn't know what was this feeling called. It was not fear, it was something much stronger but also calmer than that. This was the feeling called hopelessness. It was just how a person would feel if they stood before an atomic bomb or under a giant meteorite. The was nothing a human could do to withstand such force. Ilirielth could even believe if someone called the creature before her a god. Never in her life had she witnessed such a strong presence except for her grandfather. Before her eyes were a creature that stood on the pinnacle of this world, a titan. It had a human shape but its body was abnormally long, they couldn't see the end of its body, only the part from head to chest and its arm. Its body resembled a giant worm with blue skin and had been heavily mutated as millions of organs grew out of it. Its eyes, bigger than a 5-floor building, stared at the two of them. There was something protruded on its forehead, a small human figure dropped down from the titan. Its height equals Iliriendil's.
" You looked a bit different than the last time I saw you." - Iliriendil said in human language. The titan's avatar took a glance at Ilirielth, it let out a smile and also replied in human language.
" It was an honor to be remembered by you o great one."
The titan's avatar's aura and its info were identical to the leader of the blue giant group, it was "subject 105".
" Stop with these acts. What do you want?"
" I'm surprised that you're still asking that. There was only one thing that every creature in this place wanted. That was to escape. Let me get straight to the point, we should work together."
" We refused."
Ilirielth was the one who said. She couldn't trust this thing, this thing was definitely on the level of a demon king. A creature like this should have been a ruler of Mordox. That meant it was the demon of demons, the devil of devils. There would be almost certain that it would betray them at some point.
The avatar turned to Ilirielth. There was no expression on its face but she could tell it was looking down on her. She was like an ant standing in front of a storm. There was no killing intent, just the look of it made her legs became squishy. Yet she still looked at it straight in the eyes.
" 303, this one beside you is quite interesting, isn't it? "
" I don't like your tone. If you do not respect her then there's nothing to discuss between us."
The titan avatar laughed and released the pressure on Ilirielth.
" Very well, If you earned 303's respect then you also earned mine. I apologize for my inappropriate behavior."
It bowed to her.
" Please before making any harsh decision, allow me to explain why we should cooperate. First of all, what do you think of this place?"
" It's a very big dungeon."
" Dungeon? Hahaha… no. This's not a dungeon, this's something more despicable than that, it's a playfield, it's hell, created by Lilith."
" Lilith?"
Ilirielth gasped, how could she not know that name? One of the ten rulers of the cursed land. That name occurred in every history book, every disaster. If this place was created by such a creature then their chance of escape was next to non-existence.
" You seem to understand what I mean, human. 'Escape' was just a pitiful dream, there was no escape at all. We're all here for her entertainment. If she got tired of us, she will dispose of us, that was our only escape until now…"
The avatar's eyes laid on Iliriendil as the corner of its mouth rose.
" You're different from the rest of us, you're special. She had a plan for you. 303. You're the ticket to our freedom."
