Woosh~

The wind howled, accompanied by the cheerful chirping of birds soaring in the bright, sunlit sky above the Belgium Empire. Known for its magic-wielding residents, fierce knights, and strict nobility, the empire contrasted sharply with the well-ordered Cevallos Empire.

45 years ago in the Belgium Empire:

The haunting tale of the emperor who killed the empress still lingered in the history books. The tragic scene was witnessed by the young crown prince, who was only ten years old at the time. The empress, rumored to have fairy blood and destined to become the queen of the fairy realm, had been deeply in love with the emperor. But her love ended in tragedy when the emperor's madness took hold of him. After his sudden death, the ambitious nobles pushed the young prince to take the throne at just eighteen.

Belgium (South): Ortellian Residence

"Ughhh..."

"Am I going to die here? Ughhhh..."

Both Uriel and Lofel were drained from their non-stop journey. They had spent the last ten days delivering letters to twenty different nobles across the three empires as ordered by the emperor.

"This is the last one. I hope the fourth ace leader is a good person," Uriel sighed, feeling exhausted.

"I hope so," Lofel agreed. Their past encounters with the aces had ranged from intimidating but chatty to quick-tempered yet energetic.

South: Ortellian Residence

"Haaaah."

"WOAHHH!"

In the bustling courtyard filled with the sounds of clashing swords and knights' cheers, Tyler Klaus Ortellian, Duke of the South and leader of the Tiger Aces, was in the middle of a heated sparring session. With his striking red hair and pale violet eyes, Tyler was known as the third strongest sorcerer in the Belgium Empire. Despite his powerful reputation, his hobbies—painting and caring for his sick mother—showed a gentler side to his character.

"Bang!"

The clash of swords rang out as Tyler faced off against Philip Kiyan Evans, a nobleman with white hair and red eyes. Philip, originally from Cevallos but now living in Belgium due to family issues, had given up his noble title to join Tyler and become a knight leader. His family, with its tangled relationships and many siblings, had pushed him to seek a different life path.

"Smashed!"

Tyler landed a powerful blow, knocking Philip's sword from his grip.

"Impressive, your grace," Philip panted, catching his breath.

"Haaa, how many minutes has it been? I'm wiped out," Tyler said, feeling the weight of the duel.

"Perhaps we should call it quits now, your grace," Philip suggested.

"Prepare his bath and dessert in his office," Tyler ordered the maids, who blushed at his presence.

Half an hour later, Tyler sat at his desk, going through papers and reading the latest news when Philip knocked on the door.

"Your grace, a letter from Emperor Ludwig Helgard Sevallos of the Sevallos Empire has arrived," Philip announced.

"Come in, Philip," Tyler replied, his tone tense as he opened the emperor's urgent letter.

Meanwhile, far away:

"Achooo!" Selentia sneezed loudly, rubbing her nose, which had turned red from the cold.

Hello everyone! Apologies for the delay in posting. School has kept me busy, and I almost forgot to update. I hesitated because I thought the previous chapter didn't have enough excitement, but I'm not giving up! I'll be changing the title to something more original. Feel free to follow me on Instagram for spoilers. Thank you for your patience. The next chapter will be released in two months—things slow down when the heroines meet!

Chapter 1/7 introduces the characters, but there's much more to come. Here's a little sneak peek of what's next:

-"What's this?" - her memories return.
