Luke

"Hello, Mr. Lowell? Correct?" Silas greeted me, and Jack also smiled a little at me before joining me in the shade where I stood, with two of the escorts that came to pick me up at the airport.

"Yeah. Correct." I looked into the pair of almond eyes behind his mask, and I saw it twinkling with mischievousness.

What the hell is he up to?

My body stiffened when I couldn't read his eyes, or what the heck he could be up to.

Solas waved the escorts off, while some of his maids filled the ceramic table before us with fruits, my eyes were focused on Jack's body, trying to check if Silas hadn't turned him into a wolf yet, or if he looked maltreated.

"How are you, Jack?" I finally asked the young man, flashing him a tiny smile.

Jack squeezed his brows at me and briefly turned his head to face Silas in confusion before looking back at me. "How did you know my name, sir?"
